We came in at the restaurant at 2pm and wanted to order a salat from the menu. We were told at that moment, after a wait of 15 minutes already, that we couldn’t order any food anymore (although according to the menu the kitchen is...open till 5pm). The kitchen had too much work 🤨 and this was told in not a friendly way… Very bad experience, too bad for such a prestigious museum…More

The museum visit deserved a break. So we ordered cappuccino and cake and didn't regret it. It was a homemade delicious cake and a well prepared cappuccino at an acceptable price. The service was fast and friendly. So what more could you ask for?

Great space withing the gallery and brilliant staff. Superb food and drink - just one thing wrong - the food was what I might say is a little small. Not expensive and fantastic tastes but just a bit on the small size. How about another...50% guys? Lovely space and very peaceful and tranquilMore

The art gallery itself is worth a visit if modern art is your thing but avoid this terrible place that has food (can’t use the word restaurant because it doesn’t deserve the title) because you will be disappointed. We sat inside the building in an...obvious place for at least 30 minutes - nearer to 40 minutes before any of the staff (of which there were plenty) even acknowledged our presence. We ordered a a sandwich and drinks to fuel us before a walk around the gallery. When our food eventually arrived our toastie was literally half a muffin with goats cheese and a splodge of jam on. I think the energy I spent getting upset at the atrociously bad service far exceeded any benefit from our lunch. Do not visit if you’re hungry, eat elsewhere first.More

You normally expect ordinary food and coffee at tourist attractions, but the burgers and coffee at Pardo Bar at K21 museum in Dusseldorf were very good. Burgers were large and incredibly tasty and certainly disappoint. Sat outside on a sunny day in the park that...is also part of the cafe - and enjoyed the surrounds and sounds. Highly recommend cafe for a much needed break from the "gallery foot shuffle".More

Was introduced to Pardo Bar from a TravelZoo Coupon that allowed for 2 people to have 2 cocktails each and share an appetizer. I checked out the website for Pardo Bar and thought it looked really great and so we along with another couple purchased...the deals. We had tried to make reservations to use the coupon one weekend but they were fully booked, so we really thought with them being so busy all the time it really was a great place. On their website, there are photos of beautiful appetizers and cocktails, etc. When we arrived, we were surprised that the place was not yet busy, we figured it was because it was only 8PM. We automatically thought the inside of the place did not quite match the bright and twinkly photos of interior on the website. The lights were quite bright and the music, while good, was quite quiet. The cocktail menu that we received when we arrived was only a very small portion of the cocktail menu on the website. We ordered cocktails which were all good, but nothing that spectacular. When it came to order the appetizers, we were really disappointed. On the website there are photos of very beautiful small plates and there was nothing at all like this on the menu. There were some standard dinner items, a big Burger, and Pflammkuchen. We ordered 2 Pflammkuchen, which again, were good but just not what we were hoping to have that night. I guess if we had never saw their website, we would have said the place is OK, but not spectacular. After seeing the website, and looking forward to a great evening, to have what we did was very disappointing. Maybe when there are museum functions, it is more lively but I don't think it is a place we will spend much time.More

Been there first time since 8 years and have been positively surprised. The bar itself has not changed at all - stylish as always and still great ambiance and a place with fantastic atmosphere. The place is located within a museum but the style is...very elegant with lots of colours, mirrors and a 70's style wall deco. Foodwise i was surprised about the high quality, taste and excellence of our dishes. We had a seasonal highlight - German asparagus with baby potatoes and a veal schnitzel, we had the Pardo-Burger with a small salad and dutch fries. Just great nothing else to say. Asparagus on the point and nice together with the veal, melted butter and the baby potatoes. The burger just perfect and one of the best, I ever had ! Staff very friendly and helpful and thumbs up for the kitchen as well !More

The place is good.. located in a museum.. with a nice ambiance.. sit out is very good when the weather is nice.. we were lucky have nice sunny weather... ordered croissant with nougat and coffee... my friend ordered croissant with chocolate.. when the food came.....we were surprised... the croissant was delicious.. but we were not able to decide which of us got the wrong dip.. what i got tasted like chocolate.. i thought nougat was white.. unless the Germans have a different nougat.. my friend and me got the same dip.. but he was not satisfied either it was nutella that we got.. not chocolate.. so.. not a bad breakfast but a bit confusing... coffee as good though.. went for a second round.. :) given the location.. it is a bit pricy.,..More
