The waiters were always present to change bottles or plates, letting us have virtually no waiting time. The food is great, their degustation menu for two made my friend and I full to the brim (and we are big eaters), completely worth the price you pay for it. Full marks is an understatement, I had a great time and will come back with other people, this gem must be shared.

One of the best Indian Takeaways we have experienced in Toulouse. We ordered Butter chicken, paneer masala plus 3 naans & they offered two portions of rice. I highly recommend Curry cafe

The name Curry Cafe makes me smile. You would never associate a curry in a French cafe would you? So I went to try it out and went in the hope that I would get a table. The place was nearly empty when I arrived on a Sunday evening. By the way, many restaurants do not open on a Sunday night in Toulouse so be aware of this when looking for somewhere to eat. Although it was nearly empty when I arrived, it didn’t take long for the diners to begin to roll in and by the time I was leaving, it was nearly full. The restaurant itself is very bright, which fits in with the staff’s bright and friendly disposition. They are all full of hellos, how are you, is everything ok, do you need anything else etc, all delivered with bright beaming faces, behind the masks of course! The menu is extensive. I had a chicken jalfrezi. It was delicious. Do not over order food as there is so much! I could only finish half of my dish despite it only being the curry and rice. It is very filling and so full of flavour. The naan was delicious too. They offered me a free pre-dinner drink but as I don’t drink alcohol, I declined. Including a soft drink, mine came to about €23. Very good value for very good food and impeccable service. Thank you to your team for making a solo female traveller feel very welcome in your lovely restaurant.

We visited here with friends and were really looking forward to delicious Indian food. Sadly it appears we came to the wrong place. Most of the staff was unfriendly. I ordered lentil daal and specifically asked for it not too spicy. When it arrived it was swimming in oil and appeared to have dollops of curry or chilli paste throughout. It was mind blowingly hot ... too hot for anyone to eat and enjoy! I told the waiter and he apologised fir his mistake. He took it back to the kitchen and when it came back it was just a soupy mess! I think he just tipped half of it out and added hot water! Bottom line the food was inedible and the spicing appeared to me to be derived from shop bought pastes rather than competent use of beautiful Indian spices. Even though the food was inedible it was still on the bill. Avoid!!

This restaurant ranked in the top 10 in trip Advisor, so we thaught why not we love Indian food, The staff were lovley and so attentive. We ordered chicken pakora for a starter and the chicken was dry and batter was hard. For mains we had chicken tikka and tandoori chicken, both looked the part but really bland . Way over priced for the dining experience.

I am not into big portions, prefer clearly quality over quantity but in this restaurant I think price value does not match. Food tastes like average Indian food in anywhere in Europe, big portion size is very small. A small mango lassi for more than five Euros is ridiculous. Service is ok but overall the rating here is better than the restaurant deserves.

Came for dinner last month. We shared a chicken pakora starter - was crispy and light, really good. Our mains were chicken tikka jalfreizi and prawn karia. We like curry to be quite spicy so weren't sure if we would be disappointed but we needn't have worried as both our dishes had a good, spicy kick. Our garlic naan was delicious too. All the staff were attentive without being intrusive and we were given a free shot after our meal too. Just a pity it was our last night as we would have probably come back again if we had more time in Toulouse.

This restaurant is the best Indian restaurant you can get in Toulouse. The food is absolutely delicious and authentic Indian cuisine for your Indian food cravings. The Nan/Indian bread is perfect, unlike the extremely thick Nans that other Indian restaurants in Toulouse serve. The curry is flavorful in every spoonful. To top it all off, the service is great, the staff are polite and welcoming. This place won't let you down at all. Would highly recommend this place.

Curry cafe was a spur of the moment trip for my friends and I in Toulouse. We were visiting for four days and expected to indulge in more French food. Little did we know the best food of the trip would be an Indian restaurant called "Curry Cafe." The place is upscale, bright, and friendly. The service was immediately great, with the server switching between French and English for the different members of our party. The speed in which they served us was absurd, with their appetizers coming out in 5 minutes, regular dishes 15, and their drinks near immediate. They were so kind to give us free drinks on the house. The food itself was immaculate. The Paneer Tikka Massala was worth literal gold, while every other dish was amazing in its own right. This was the best Indian food I've ever had in my life.

Came to the restaurant late in the evening at about 10:00pm, quite a few customers dining and a nice bright atmosphere with a modern and informal ‘cafe’ setting. Staff are happy and attentive and the menu has enough variation and choice to please most tastes and pretences. A welcome cocktail on the house was a lovely surprise and a nice touch - My wife ordered a mixed starter platter food as a main course and I chose a chicken and lentil curry (along the lines of a Parsi ‘Dansak’ with a plain pilau rice). My wife’s starter arrived promptly and soon after my meal also came to the table (a little bit too fast for me to believe it was cooked with any detail or time ). Sadly, the first piece of chicken I cut into was cold so the food was sent back - it returned hot but the chicken was tough as though it had been re-heated, the sauce was thick and had an astringent taste as if spices had been added to it but not had time to cook in and mellow - tasted like a rushed base sauce had been added to but not properly cooked. My wife enjoyed her starters so they do some things well ! €17.50 for my curry without rice seems a lot to pay for ‘cafe’ style food ? From my experience today I can’t describe the curry as ‘restaurant’ quality but the prices are !? Shame, the staff are great and the atmosphere is good - I hope they can up their game ? (Suspicious of SO many 5 star reviews with 5 out of 5 for each category?)

We had dinner at the Curry Cafe and were really glad to have visited. The servers were very friendly and although the restaurant was full the wait was not too long. We were served a complimentary cocktail like a sangria. The starters were very tasty, so we got off to a good start. We had 3 different types of curries with naan and paratha. All the curries were very different which was great. Very often the curries taste very similar. Desserts were also very tasty and authentic. The only negative thing I can say about the Curry Cafe is the ambience. Dim the lights, light some candles and you're all set:-) When next in Toulouse we will return!

Very nice Indian restaurant in a older part of town. Staff was very attentive although I was there pretty early (7:30) and there not too many patrons. Had Tikka Marsala which was very good, tasty with just the right amount of spice. The onion nan was a bit, wet; it could have baked a bit more. I did have dessert galub jamun. It was actually a bit dry- I’m used to it soaking in sugar water - it wasn’t melt in your mouth. I also ordered cardamom tea, which was ok but again not great. All and all good, just not great.

At last!!! An Indian restaurant within in France where the food actually taste authentic. So many of them cater for the French taste pallet that the food ends up being bland and an utter disappointment. Not so at the Curry Cafe. The food was exceptionally tasty, the service was excellent. Couldn't fault it. My only disappointment is that we hadn't discovered the place sooner. Certainly worthwhile to make the 4 hour round trip from the Aveyron to Toulouse to satisfy the taste buds of us Brits!!

Excellent Indian food with absolute delicious taste. The samosa is a must try, and the dishes are served hot and tasty, with close attention to the guests in all matters, even under stress. A well organised team with a very capable and experienced cook.
