Value for money! Amazing host and fantastic food. We enjoyed the menu of four dishes and wow it’s really good. Big recommendation!

This area is not well populated with restaurants good enough for a special occasion, so this is certainly one to savour. We had the €41meal comprising 3 excellent courses, each well presented with a range of textures and flavours. The orange creme Catalan was pure delight. Servings were well timed by friendly and helpful staff. It was good to see a wide wine list, especially with half bottles for those who have to drive.

The food was very good quality from beginning to end, we had the menu that was 35€ with starters, main and dessert. May be a good idea to book as it is quite popular !

My wife and I ate here whilst staying at the connected Hotel. The meal was delicious. We had the fillet steak and ceps was perfectly cooked and really amazing, followed by the hot chocolate fondant. A truly lovely meal that finished a great day perfectly. Thanks Chef Jean CAZORLA and your team.

My wife and I dined here on the back of good reviews. However nearly all the menus have “suggestion du moment” and the €20 menu is entirely so. When the only choice is between a kidney or fish dish, then there needs to be a meat alternative of some kind. My wife and I were, therefore, forced to chose a more expensive menu in order to have duck. I travel extensively for work and have dined at some of the best restaurants in the world, but never before have I not been offered an alternative to offal! The food was good, not exceptional, but good; except for the pudding which was outstanding. The service is friendly and reasonably attentive, but you cannot but consider the experience somewhat pretentious.

We were so happy to have found this restaurant and the hotel Manior d'Agnes. Each evening we were warmly welcomed, and enjoyed great service, and tasty well-prepared meal. The fish was fresh and cooked correctly accompanied by a very nice sauce. Great wines and a nice choice of desserts, although we were usually too full. One evening however; we came in late and Lucie our server brought us dessert to the room. The restaurant also helped me with the freezing of ice packs, since I have chronic urticaria, and the packs were helping cool down the hives. Everyone was so sweet and understanding. You would go a long way to find a place with such good food and so sensitive a staff.

A really great experience. Staff friendly and efficient. Great choice of menus €20 to Degustation menu of €52. Also A la carte menu. Food was well presented. Fresh ingredients. Fish choices were Dorade or Monkfish. Beautifully cooked with wonderful sauce. Filet de Boeuf cooked to perfection with great flavour and tender. Desert of Creme Brule a l'Orange was outstanding. Good coffee. Wine was good and reasonably priced. If you try this restaurant you will return

We had a lovely time in Tarascon, the hotel is well located for visiting the area and whilst it is in the main road this did not detract from its appeal. We had room 2 which was large and spacious, there is a lift to all floors and the owner was extremely helpful even with our lack of the French language.

We ate here on all 3 nights of our stay at the hotel, the food was excellent, great choice including vegetarian main course which was the best selection of vegetables ever seen. Patricia our waitress was extremely efficient and after the first night knew exactly what we would order to drink. Service with a smile from all the staff. Thank you for a wonderful time

Nice position, excellent helpful staff, really good quality food,, but only what you should expect from a good French restaurant and not really fine dining. Not much to compete with it in Tarascon so worth a try.

This restaurant is a real gem. The service is friendly and professional - the lovely young lady gave us excellent advice for a bottle of wine and was fluent in four languages! We had the set menu - four courses and from memory it was €39 a person. I can tell you you would not find a better selection anywhere and would pay twice as much for most that would come close All fresh and predominantly local with in season ingredients, beautiful flavours and exquisitely presented. We had asparagus soup, one seafood medley and one duck terrine for entree, both had steak for the main and then for dessert a chocolate fondant and an orange brûlée- with a twist. I am drooling just writing about it! Do yourself a favour and go to the foothills of the Pyrenees and eat here every night!

As we were staying only one night in their hotel and as we had already travelled for more than 8 hours, we decided to keep things simple and easy and to give a go to their restaurant. Well.. in all honesty we had read as well some quite good reviews. Long story short, we had an excellent dinner! The diversity and creativity of the menu is very attracting. The food is very well prepared and cooked and everything is very tasty and looks great in your plate. The service - by a couple of dynamic young waitresses - is very effective, while attentive and friendly. There is absolutely nothing to complain about. Even the check at the end is more than reasonable. Perhaps the wine list could be a bit more extensive to better match the quality and diversity of the food. At the end, we had a great evening and a great dinner. The room was full on this evening, with mainly local people and we do understand why. PS: The restaurant is in total coherence with the hotel that offers great service as well. Separate review on its way.

We were staying at the Manior de l'agnes and wanted a reasonable dinner after a long flight from the US. We were shocked at the quality of the food in the tasting menu, with each course being excellent nd, frankly, one of the best pigeon plates I have had in my life. It was so good that we decided the next two nights to venture no further and eat here, something we RARELY ever do. We would have eaten here a fourth night, but the restaurant was closed Sunday night. My only quibbles were that one night the duck was a bit over cooked and one realizes that all the main plates have the same accompaniments (such as the aubergines) so the vegetables etc are not really thought out specifically with the main item in mind. This would turn off a real gourmet; however, we thought it all tasted very good and the reasonable service and prices made this a great find.

Innovative recipes, WONDERFUL combinations of foods, both seasonal and fresh, this ranks among our favorite restaurants anywhere! We were delighted beyond expectations, and we ate there both nights of our stay in town. The friendly and knowledgeable waitresses were just the best also. We had 2 wonderful evenings. I wish I could go there right now.
