We had lunch here on a rainy Saturday. The excellent value for money menu option includes a starter, main course and dessert of choice from the full menu. Service was friendly and efficient. Our food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious.
The amuse-bouche was aubergine-based and very tasty. Our starter was asparagus soup with egg and barley. My partner said that that dish alone was worth the long drove from our home to Castres. For our main course we both had the fondant of beef, again beautifully presented and with great attention to detail. Our chosen dessert was a generous cheese platter. Good bottle of local wine from the extensive and reasonably-priced wine list.
Ô Victoria serves excellent seasonal food using local ingredients. We really enjoyed our lunch here and will certainly be back. Recommended.

I had the 'plat de jour' which cost 22€ for 3 courses which was delicious and excellent value. There was no choice and the day I went the menu was Pumpkin soup (with I think mushrooms, chestnuts and croutons)-the best I have ever tasted. The main course was pieces of chicken cooked with small new potatoes, vegetables such as leeks, carrots, mushroom and onions and all in a wonderful sauce. The desert was a mouse covered with chocolate pieces and flavoured with lemon. The terrace of the restaurant is in a quiet square in the centre of Castres just by the Cathedral. The staff were all very firendly and I thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

Loved the setting of this restaurant , the room is beautiful. Very welcoming staff, quick service. The lunch menu is very accessible for the quality of the products. this restaurant deserves an excellent badge!! it managed to accommodate 10 of us for lunch, at very short notice, yes we did get there early, 12.00.. However given that this is a busy restaurant, this was a big ask.
The restaurant is situated off the main shopping precinct, in a carpark toward the rear of the cathedral. A central location. The owner or manager was very friendly, and was very attentive.
The food selection was excellent, and the service was first rate 👌.. if we were here in Castres again we would welcome the opportunity to dine here again.

First impression was an empty entrance hall/bar (on a Market Day !) that was dispelled when we descended into the vaulted restaurant where almost every table was occupied. After a friendly welcome we were seated offered drinks and menu and absorbed the buzz to this place.
We chose one of each of the 2 Menus on offer (we were also informed that it was possible to mix and match for a supplement). The drinks and generous and tasty food were served with a minimum of delay, but unhurried - the waitresses were attentive and eagle-eyed should you need anything ..... like another glass of the excellent house red.
More Bistro than Fine Dining, but wouldn't hesitate to re-visit next time we come to Castres.
