We chose the menu at 48 euros and I must admit a little disappointment about the flavors. The entrance miniardis was very bitter. Nothing to complain about on the starter with the carpaccio of Saint Jacques nor the pan-fried foie gras that were perfect. However, the veal was quite dry without flavors (sauce?). The dessert was simple and efficient.
As for the service, we had the impression of a disorganization: forced to ask for bread, waiters who go empty ...
We won't stay on a half-tone opinion and we'll try again to form a definitive opinion

23€ (starter/main course/dessert/glass of wine) of this quality, it's unheard of: the Michelin guide should double his distinction of "Gourmet Bib"! Food sought, fine and tasty cuisine, fast and efficient service...
The menu has other more expensive menus, tempting too. An address not to be missed, despite the surprising proportion of mixed reviews...mystery!

2nd visit to this restaurant in 3 years.
Very warm welcome
Friendly staff
Fast service despite a busy Saturday evening!
But unfortunately compared to our previous visit, there were some disappointments on the menu.
The appetizer, the sardine was inedible due to the countless bones.
I know some people eat them but impossible for us.
Then too many radishes...
As an appetizer as a starter in dishes...certainly it was seasonal and its color on a plate but raw placed like this on the plate we had an overdose ^^
On the other hand, we fell in love with the dessert 🍨 🍨 which was perfect! The cookie revisited 🍪.
In summary, I will not give a bad rating because the products were of quality and well cooked, I think that we did not come across a menu that simply suited us taste-wise.

**Disappointing and not to be missed for the Award**
I went to the restaurant "La Share des Angels" in Castres with high expectations, but unfortunately, the experience fell far short of what one would expect for the Award.
From the reception, the atmosphere was freezing, with a flagrant lack of friendliness and humor. We had an unpleasant remark when we reported the absence of the 23 euro menu on the flash code available on the table. No questioning from staff, which shows a lack of consideration for customers.
The dishes themselves were another source of disappointment. The appetizer, although visually pleasant, was unbalanced in flavors. As for the main course, it was simply inedible: the meat was overcooked to the point of becoming dry and difficult to chew. Wine, supposed to accompany the meal, was served late, as was bread. It ruined the harmony of the meal.
An aperitif, on the other hand, was served in derisory quantities for an exorbitant Award, which further accentuates the feeling of poor value for money.
The only positive of the day was one of the waitresses, who was pleasant and smiling. However, the other waitress seemed lost, hesitant, and even grimacing when stating the menu, which did not help to improve the mood.
In conclusion, for the Award this restaurant charges, I wouldn't recommend "The Angels' Share." I do not intend to come back to this and have expressed my displeasure to the staff on site that I will share my experience.

Excellent meal (except for the dessert which lacks originality for the 45 euro menu) and professional service, apart from the absence of bread in the middle of the meal.
However, the downsides, too numerous for our taste, spoiled our pleasure: table for 2 cramped and stuck to the partition, armchair with questionable stains on the seat and not very comfortable, no tablecloth on the bistro-style tables, stuffy atmosphere ( tables too close together) and especially very noisy room (canteen atmosphere guaranteed) add to that the noise of pots and pans from the kitchen. Damage ! some improvements or a better distribution of customers throughout the restaurant would have been welcome. For menus at 45 euros or more, it would be appropriate to reserve them exclusively for the evening and keep the menus at 22 euros for lunch. We intended to have our wedding meal in a small group at your place one afternoon and that will not be the case.

If the kitchen lacks a bit of originality the plates are well set, the cookings controlled and the prices suitable. What spoils the fun is everything else: an appalling service (it's a profession), wine by the glass without interest, an incomprehensible wait (25 minutes to take the order and it will be like this the whole meal while the rooms are not full. Too bad. But Michelin's gourmet Bib is not deserved.

I have a very mixed view when leaving the restaurant.
Indeed two very disappointing points:
Our table was located upstairs in the restaurant and it was very difficult to communicate with the service because once the dish was on the table we were left to our own devices.
If a product was missing from the table, we had to wait for the next dish to be able to express our needs.
When the main course was served, the bread was missing from the table. We had the eureka opportunity to see someone to beg for some.
Twenty minutes later, our dishes were cold, the bread had not found the stairs.
When it was served to us it was fresh from the oven, so was hot, but had a frozen core in the center.
Noticed with a cold dish, semi-frozen bread, it is “appreciable”.
How could a restaurant not have any bread when it had few customers?
It’s borderline between isolation and basic failure.

Meal neat and good with nice presentation of the plate. Meal at 37€ without the wines. 3 downsides at this restaurant:
*Cold welcome on the phone when booking.
* No change of cutlery between the starters and the main course, you have to ask the waiter... it seems a bit strong for this type of meal (is it a Canteen...)
* Having ordered a glass of red wine, the waiter almost poured the bottom of the bottle into my glass, forced to stop it and I thought he would come back with another bottle to complete the filling... but NO!

Excellent value ; creative and delicious cuisine, with superb products, very nice setting! A very good evening. Too bad Trip Advisor gave the wrong address 3 years ago from the date of the move and sent us to a competitor! What a shame for people who want to be professionals. This address is not worth getting wrong!

Stayed across the river and agree with previous reviewers that this is a very good restaurant and one worth visiting regularly. Excellent service and varied menu that delivered what it promised. Efficient and splendid atmosphere with other tables celebrating birthdays or families out for the evening. All in all an excellent experience.

This restaurant sets out to impress, in the right way. The setting is elegant and not overblown, the service is good and attentive and the food is excellent. We were there on a Tuesday night, yet it seemed that they had to turn people away when they filled up. Book or get there early and be as polite as they are and you should enjoy the experience.

We had the menu de jour for 18 euros, limited choice but enough.
The starters where stunning and the main course and dessert did not disappoint.
Overall it was the best meal we ate in our week in the Tarn
The service was excellent and the staff very friendly, The bottle of wine we chose was a perfect accompaniment for all the courses.

Booked the restaurant based on TripAdvisor reviews for my birthday, which was lucky as numerous people were turned away. Lovely restaurant, amazing apero - made me buy olives for the first time in my life! Fantastic amuse bouche. I had pigeon (for the first time) and it was lovely. I finished with a chocolate fondant, which could only have been improved by a serving of vanilla ice cream rather than the sorbet. Fantastic staff, perfect timing to feel like they were taking notice, they moved the meal on without feeling rushed.
