The service was great. I walked in to asked the owner if he could save the seats for us as we would like to take pictures of the citadel before it rained. He did reserve a table for us until we went back half an...hour later, at that time, the restaurant was full already. So we were very thankful of him. He first let me do a blind wine tasting, and the wines were really nice. In particular, we ordered the oeuf cocotte, and that was very very delicious. Prices were reasonable as well. It is definitely one of the best dining experiences had in the world.More

Our first real taste of truffles, the waiter was very helpful, and gave us all kinds of suggestions. Smell very earthy to me, the menu hangs on the wall written on small black boards. Every dish was truffle based, like truffle salty butter on grilled...bread, truffle foie gras, truffle egg, and so on, plus a few extras like cheese and cured meat. They also have a fine selection of local wine. TIP: Be bold try something new.More

We had a wonderful lunch here! The owner and his son are very friendly, all the products used are simple and fresh and local and of the best quality. And everything with truffles in abundance. In June of course with the less tasty summer truffles...so we decided we must pay a visit here in wintertime when the black truffles are in season. We can highly recommend the oysters from Leucate with truffles! Also the local wines being served are of good quality. They let you taste a variety so you can choose what you like best. Great concept, this charming place!More

What a great surprise! We were looking for a simple but unusual diner and found this "workshop". Clearly, this is the place to go for enjoying truffle based dishes: truffled salty butter on grilled bread, truffled foie gras, truffled egg, truffled mashed potato with duck,...etc. and even truffled tiramisu. The owner is extremely kind, does its best to satisfy you and even provides the recipes. We shall return there the next time we visit Carcassonne.More

This is how having truffles should be: showing how plain and simple dishes can be elevated with some shavings. And it is plenty of shavings. And you can choose best wine to go with it. Owner is really nice and helpful and we really enjoyed...the experience. Would definitely recommend.More

Although there are a few tables inside the restaurant, the majority is on the other side of the road. Not a large place but interesting. As the name of the restaurant suggests: truffles are central on the menu. However, there are also a few dishes...without truffles; so all good! Wine is important here and before selecting, one is given a taste of a few; how nice is that?!More

Owned and run by Philippe Barrière and his wife, he does the "show" at the front, together with waitering and orchestration, whilst his talented wife does the cooking! Menu is fairly restricted, but the 4 dishes we tried were all excellent. It's is a little..."Bohemian" , and as he has a few tables across the street, service is "patchy" but suits the ambiance.More

Great truffle experience. If you like truffles you'll love this place, if you don't know truffles - try it! Daily Menu on boards, smallish but decent selection. Friendly, efficient staff. Prices (given price of Truffles in UK) comparable to decent restaurants in Carcassonne & Narbonne.

There are chalkboards in the window and around the restaurant listing all the offerings. I do not know if the menu is listed online. If you enjoy truffles, you cannot go wrong. There is something for everybody. I think... More
