We booked here on Friday night, and had a great meal, staff were very friendly and accommodating and the atmosphere was perfect, a nice buzz around the place. We had the set menu and it was superb. The food was so good and reasonably priced...that we went back the next night and they squeezed us in although we didn’t have a reservation. Got recommended by our B&B hostess but rather disappointed with the food. The restaurant had a good vibe, menu was both in English and French and staff spoke good English. Service was good but food was average. Two of us shared 5 dishes - fig...and mozzarella cheese was good, escargot was flavoursome but over cooked, razor claims bit chewy & beef skewer a bit tough.More

Great eponymous escargot. And the cream of vegetable soup was absolutely delicious. Main courses include quail or squid or beef or several other foods. They speak Spanish and English as well as French.

We visited Carcassonne and dined here twice for dinner and once for lunch, by far the best restaurant we came across during the week, Thomas is a truly genuine host and his team are friendly and have very consistently good food I loved the roast...figs stuffed with gorgonzola and wrapped in pancetta we never used the al a carte menu as there were so many delicious tapas to choose from razor clams were amazing I am getting hungry just thinking about the lovely food and the ambience here. Definitely worth a visit and should be included in the Michelin guide unlike some others that are. Looking forward to visiting here again in the futureMore

The place is perfectly located right in the heart of the citadel and offers delicious food at great price, yet it is just the beginning as the service is super friendly and helpful, yet amazingly fast and effective. One of the best meals we have had so far in Carcassonne. The restaurant does both tapas and fixed price menus. We went for the menu at 25 euros and it was amazing how different (and better) it was for one we had elsewhere for...22 euros. The difference in price was not that great but the food was on a different level, more contemporary and planned out so that we could enjoy it all without feeling over-full. The staff were friendly and there is a reasonable wine list. Being a Saturday night, it was quite busy so we could only have a table on the terrace but it was enjoyable. I think we might be back again!More
