This was our third visit to this lovely fish and seafood restaurant and as always the food was superb. My husband's whole grilled plaice was absolute perfection. My monk fish steak wrapped in pancetta was tasty and a generous portion. We chose a white Minervois...wine from a small vineyard only a few kilometres from Carcassonne. It was so delicious and perfect with our fish. However there was a problem with the service. Our waiter was very off hand, we asked him to speak French but he insisted in speaking very disjointed English. On a nearby table he actually dropped some food on the floor but put it back on the plate!. There were no smiles as we are used to here and he made us feel uncomfortable. Pity as we love this place.More

We went here for an evening meal after a craving for some fresh seafood. We got here just after it opened and were a bit concerned about how quiet it was. So glad we stuck with it, the food was amazing and the restaurant quickly...filled with locals. We had the fresh fish platter and were able to watch the chef cooking it at the back of the restaurant, presentation was great and the staff were attentive. Food was beautiful and very well priced, would definitely recommend!More

The seafood is really fresh and tasty, I found the quality-price combination quite good. Nice people and cosy ambient.

We walked past this restaurant on the canal and noticed it being a seafood restaurant Once you walk in the decor is modern and stylish as you can only see a window front which is styled very old. However once you go through the doors...and downstairs it’s very lovely The service was excellent as was the food Try a picpoul white wine it was fantastic and went very well with the fresh seafood The seafood was so good and a nice change from local heavy food. Try everything and anything as it’s a great menu The dessert was excellent also, especially the crepe Gil and the profiteroles We will definitely come back to this little gemMore

Small restaurant near the canal. We found it very easily. You eat downstairs in a basement but it was a nice atmosphere and not claustrophobic. We both had the €30 menu and thought it good value. We both started with moules and razor clams. On...the menu it was palourdes but these weren't available. The razor clams were just a little gritty but the dish was generous and very tasty. Next a small whole grilled plaice for my husband, cooked to perfection as were by scallops. A pichet of nice dry house rosé for €6. Good service. If we are in Carcassonne again we will return. Can safely say if you like fish and sea food you will be happy here. Only a small place so perhaps as well to book in advance.More

This fish and seafood restaurant, situated in a quiet area at the edge of the main city near the railway station and the Canal du Midi, doesn't look very exciting from the outside but once inside and downstairs to the dining area, it's a gem!...Very comfortably and intimately laid out, it has a great menu at a very reasonable price and the house wine served by the pichet is good and also very reasonably priced. The excellent cooking was done in view of the diners and the service was just right. If you go to Carcassonne don't miss it. It's some way from the medieval walled city but worth the (very pleasant) walk.More

Focus very much on seafood. But this was why we went as several of my family have been here over the last few years. Great value considering the the quality of food and attentive, but not invasive, service. First night of a great few days...in Carcassonne for Bastille Day (and France winning the Coupe du Monde!).More

Just had dinner in this restaurant. Using google maps we walked straight to it but it seems we came in via the back entrance down an iffy looking alley. We ordered the seafood platter for two which was €28 a head. Well it didn't disappoint...with rasor clams, prawns, moules, squid, langoustines, and eight kinds of fish. A real feast for the seafood fan. We did wade our way through nearly all of it and were glad we didn't order anything else. Had a nice bottle of Chenin with it and we were replete. Highly recommended.More

Superb monkfish, and the fish platters looked wonderful. You could have hot fish or cold and both looked great. The crepe Gill was super too. Service was very slick, maybe even a bit to quick.

Very good fish restaurant that's worth a visit. The 20 E menu won't disappoint and other options are worth exploring. There's also a very good duck that is recommended. No specific children's menu but balance that against drinkable 0.5 l pichet at 5E and you'll...have a great meal.More
