Wonderful dinner. We had a very nice time at Tradi, and were charmed by the warmth and hospitality of the owners, who are the host and the chef. The food was delicious, the wine recommendations perfect, and the atmosphere really lovely. It seemed that the restaurant was filled with guests from abroad, including us. We appreciated the owners’ willingness to speak in both French and English without hesitation, and their friendly effort to welcome us and others in English. We had a great time and can’t recommend Tradi enough. It is a wonderful small French restaurant with amazing food.

Our group had a great time and delicious meal at Tradi. The experience felt very personalized and the wait staff and chef were so friendly and helpful. It felt like dining in someone’s home. We will definitely come back next time we’re in Paris.

We went there on a Friday evening summer night and it was truly superb. The food, specifically the snails, was delicious and the value for money very good. The staff was very nice, polite and able to make excellent recommendations (also with regards to the wine). I can highly recommend this restaurant for anyone wanting to experience real french cuisine at its best!

We had a disappointing meal here and it is hard to understand other ratings. We had the baked camembert to start which was OK but nothing special. The main let down was the sea bass which was tasteless and served with poorly cooked vegetables. This restaurant is firmly targeted at tourists and is not a good representation of French food.

Ate here after reading reviews on Trip Advisor. The food was excellent. It was very fresh, great combination of ingredients and the local French biere was great. The waiter (/ owner?) was very friendly and helpful in explaining what some of the dishes were. He was the only waiter for the 7 occupied tables on the night, so service was slightly slow although we weren’t in a rush and enjoyed taking our time anyway. We were well stocked with free bread throughout, which was a nice touch. The tables were not socially distanced and in fact we had to move our table to one side to go to the toilet to avoid hitting the next table. It was also a bit cold in there, with some wearing their scarves and jackets still - so wrap up warm. The food really did make it though, and we would still definitely recommend this place - just wear layers and don’t expect a quick meal.

We booked TRADI as our Saturday evening meal, after a phenomenal taster menu the night before. The standard had been set!
We knew from other reviews that this would be a bit of a different experience, which it turned out was very much the case. The place is very small, probably a maximum occupancy of 22, which is cosy to say the least. It is very much the French way that you would be sitting on the laps of the people sat next to you, but it was fine.
There are no menu's, just blackboards, which again I knew would be the case before we booked. Its unique to say the least, especially when part of the wine list was behind a post, beyond a large table! The owner was mega friendly and very accommodating (helping with understanding the menu and moving our booking back 30 mins when we were running late!).
Onto the food. We took the baked camembert to share, which was delicious. The bread was rustic and plentiful, so scores of 10/10 across the board to start. I went for the beef stew, and my partner the sea bream. The stew was MEGA basic/rustic. Reminds me of the stews I ate as a child, which was actually a nice thing for me. I wouldn't go as far as to say it was packed with flavour, but had a very homemade vibe to it. The sea bream was cooked to perfection, however some debatable accompaniments (green/black lentils and maybe a mushroom sauce?). Some nice seasonable vegetables and potatoes would likely accompany the fish better.
We took dessert which was chocolate pudding and cheese board. The chocolate pudding was yum, and the cheese board delicious also. I will however say I mistakenly took a triangle of butter as some soft cheese, smearing a thick amount onto some bread to my dismay moment later. Took a while to wash that one off the pallette! Overall, I think 4* is fair as the menu was perhaps a little basic, and the delivery only good, not excellent. I would come back as the atmosphere and good hospitality, and wine was delicious.

Today, we were at Tradis and it was just amazing. The team was totally nice and the food was outstanding.
For our first course, we decided to eat ne snails (first time). And to eat the snails was ne best decision,!because they were so good! For the main course we ate the fish and the beef and what shall I say? No words just yum! The beef was so juicy and the mesh potatoes extremely creamy - and of course the foie gras: so good. The fish was so juicy and crunchy at the same time and the black garlic sauce was just amazing. For our dessert we decided to eat the chocolate mousse & the strawberry’s with cream and pistachio and as I saying before - just outstanding. I recommend this restaurant every person who likes to eat very good, in a totally charming France restaurant with the best team! Greetings to the chef and to our service guy!

Bad experience overall. We asked about the size of the steak and were told it was an appropriate size for 1 person. It was not. In addition the quality of the steak was poor. We tried to speak to the owner and chef and were dismissed . A very disappointing and expensive experience .

Tout d'abord nous voulions vous remercier de votre avis qu'il soit bon ou mauvais il nous fait progresser . Ensuite pour rappel vous avez diner chez nous à 4 personnes sans réservation .Votre diner était de 6 escargots de bourgogne ,un foie gras de canard mi-cuit du sud ouest au bas armagnac et cognac de l'ile de Ré fait maison !! ensuite un bar fumé par nos soins sauce citron combawa ,poivre timut( coupé à la commande)et 3 entrecôtes Charolaise coupées minute (cuisson bleue chaud ,comme le chef voulait suite à votre demande) de 500 grammes chacune (indiqué au menu) ,malheureusement après avoir presque tout déguster vous vous êtes plaint de la quantité ,trop importante pour vous (à 4 , mais notifié au tableau menu 500 gr par entrecôte )!!!!! Suite à vos remarques pour être commerçant des shots vous ont été offerts et ensuite vous avez osez déblatérer sur la soit disant qualité de nos produits :viande chewing-gum, bas de gamme ,mauvaises cuissons !!!donc non ,nous ne vous avons pas accordé de plats offerts comme vous l'auriez espérez car à 4 ils n'est pas de trop de déguster 3 entrecôtes de 500 gr chacune (de bonne facture)! ensuite ambiance froide du restaurant ,désolé il n'y a pas spectacle ,juste une table ou se restauré !! Et pour rappel nous ne sommes jamais grossier et méprisant car si nous ne sommes pas capable de recevoir nos clients avec plaisir et gratitude ,nous ne serions rien !! Donc merci encore mais gardé vos médisances de personnes suffisantes(2 avis médisants sur votre table ) ,faussement souriantes(merci pour votre geste en sortant des toilettes) mais pour sur pingres !! Comme à chaque instants nous espérons être à l'écoute de nos convives et de leurs attentes en toute justesse comme nous le faisons depuis 7 ans !!! au final take care

I came to Tradi just before Christmas, on a search for Paris's best eaterie for a strongman on a low-carb diet, and what we found was a delightfully rustic, authentic and Parisian restaurant which served the best snails and oysters I've ever had. The steak was incredible, tender, juicy, generous and the sea bass was excellent and full of light and lifting flavours. The staff were extremely welcoming, jovial and warm, like being greeted by old friends.
I look forward to returning again and greeting these old friends indeed! Highly recommend

Situated in the 2nd arrondissement, Tradi offers amazing authentic French food within an intimate and cozy setting. We booked this restaurant for a last minute birthday dinner and were pleasantly surprised. Euan (the owner) was accommodating, sweet and catered to our tastes. The chef was equally delightful - we couldn’t have been more happy with our meal! Highly recommend :)

We had a really lovely dinner at this special little restaurant. The menu is varied and the food delicious. I am gluten free and don’t eat red meat. My husband is most definitely a carnivore. We both had wonderful meals. With seating for about 20 diners, the atmosphere is intimate. We felt we had made new friends after dining there. The whole restaurant is run very efficiently by the chef and the owner/waiter. I can’t recommend Tradi highly enough. It was a comfortable walk from our hotel, the Hotel du Louvre.

Tradi was the perfect place for my last night and meal in Paris. I absolutely recommend going! The space is very beautiful and cozy (without feeling crowded) and has lovely glass front and large doors that provide an indoor/outdoor feel when sitting indoors. We had a tomato salad, the escargot, foie, steak, and sea bass... and rice pudding and chocolate mousse. All were INCREDIBLE. The owner Johan (sp?) and the chef were excellent, warm, and fun hosts!

This is a small, intimate restaurant but on the night we went there was only one other table occupied by a group, otherwise it would have been a bit of a squeeze! We shared a starter of snails which was a first for us and they were very good, served with garlicy, herby butter, salt and bread. We both had the duck with carrot puree for main which was excellent and cooked typically French - i.e rare! Pudding was chocolate mousse for me and floating islands for my wife which she found a little disappointing. A good couple of glasses of wine went well with the duck. For what we had it was very expensive, but as I've not been to Paris before I don't know if that's normal, or the new normal! Recommended though.

Had a wonderful lunch here with some friends yesterday. The staff was very kind and helpful. The chef came out and explained the vegan options to a few members of our party. We really appreciated that. The ambience was very cute and French. I loved the Camembert and my ravioli. I would absolutely recommend Tradi to anyone visiting the area.

Really enjoyed my evening at tradi. The food was really really excellent, ambiance cozy and romantic, and the chef/owners are genuinely nice humans. Dinner here was one of the highlights of our trip. Absolutely try this restaurant when you are in Paris !
