Small restaurant where if you mind being seated very very close to someone else it’s not for you. The food however is good, the wine also very drinkable. If you want a change from French cruising then worth the trip. The waitress was very helpful...whilst the chef was pretty miserable. Make sure the waitress gets any tips as when it came to paying someone else took over, slightly odd to custom in all the other nearby restaurants.More

Looks like a nice small restaurant- staff are not very warm and welcoming. Food was awful, pasta tasted like water and was pre cooked

I had a pizza here. Both the food and the service were excellent. The price was very fair for a tourist location.

The food was a big disappointment, the carbonara was poorly made, with bacon instead of porchetta which was chewy, the eggs were like scrambled eggs in the pasta and the pasta was not salted enough. The pizza was too dripping but ok. The cocktail drinks...were good. Overall, it seems that the restaurant was sloppy with the food ,maybe because of the touristic neighborhood.More

Food was not great. There was something about my pasta alla Norma that I would define as “strage”. It didn’t taste like the pasta alla norma we are used to in Italy. The pasta had been in the pan too much time and it had...become too soft. The pasta quality was not great too, in fact the thickness was too thin. The tomato sauce was worse than the one I used to eat at the school caffetteria when I was a child. The eggplants were good, though they should have been cut in smaller pieces. The Parmesan was not too bad. I would just recommend to cook less the pasta and change the tomato sauce, just to make the meal more enjoyable. I don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings, but the pasta alla norma is not that hard and I can’t understand how it can be cooked in such a wrong way. I couldn’t even finish the whole plate :( I appreciated the Italian waitress and the location.More

This was on my last night to Paris where I finally made time to visit Monmarte: something I have not done in the many times i visited. Priority was to climb up the steps to the top but I didn't make it there till about...10:30pm. Once I did the walking/exploring, it was time to eat. Lots of places around there were closing down but Bella Italia was bustling and welcoming guests. I ordered the seafood pasta and a few appetizers. It was delicious and was a great way to wrap up my last evening in Paris sitting outside and savoring the view. I felt energized and charged!More

Granted it was busy but what about service with a smile ? Both waiter and waitress rushed and unfriendly . Took ages for veal to arrive and was undercooked . This restaurant looks nice and inviting on outside but it is pricey, food is mediocre...and service is poor. There are lots of better value restaurants around Montmartre. Avoid this placeMore

Dirty plates and tastless food. Boyfriend had a pizza which was sloppy and poor quality. I had the seafood linguine which was alright but clearly not fresh. Staff weren't very helpful and manager seemed unbothered.

After a morning visiting Montmarte and Basilaque du Sacre-Coeur we noticed Bella Italia on our walk to the Metro. We gave it a try and were pleased with the results. The place is not fancy and the service a bit slow (although friendly). My wife...had the simple pepperoni pie and I went for the anchovies, capers, and olives. Not bad from my perspective and I'm a former Jersey boy.More

Our family with 2 children tried to eat here tonight. We ordered Garlic bread just after placing our pizza order. We wanted it with cheese if possible. The manager did not understand us so we immediately checked that we had ordered garlic bread with cheese....He seemed Drunk or Drugged and got very angry insisting that even though it had only been a few seconds since we ordered it, we would have now to accept just cheese bread no garlic. I asked if he could be reasonable. He replied what am I supposed to do eat it? At this point we did not feel safe to eat there any longer. The waitress had her head in her hands. I felt sorry for her. I gave €10 towards the cokes we had not touched and then tried to get away from him As we left he became violent. He tried to block the door repeatedly elbowing my teenage daughter whilst trying to kick me. He grabbed my sons jacket and refused to return it. We called the police to attend about the assault and theft but they did not manage to attend before he hurriedly closed the restaurant and shutters half an hour early. He ruined our last night in Paris, no meal and waiting ages for the police who didn’t come. I think he was out if his mind, such a bizarre experience how can this man be dealing with the public? Not safe. Do not take children or anyone else here.More

A nice little Italian restaurant just a stones throw from the base of the Sacre Coeur on the Rue Tardieu with a second Italian restaurant Folorenza just next door. We arrived early 11:45 and were told we would have to come back at 12 when...they opened even though I notice on this site they are open from 11. The interior of the restaurant was modern and clean although the tables were perhaps a little too close together for me. We dined al fresco so we could sit and watch the tourists amble by and due to the lovely weather we were experiencing during out stay. We had two pizzas, a Carbonara, a Heineken, coca cola and hot chocolate for 50 Euros. Nice food and a decent service.More

The three of us came in for dinner. We asked very last minute if there was something they could do for our friend who just turned 20 this day. The staff provided us with a delicious, warm chocolate cake with a candle in it. The...entire restaurant sang my friend a happy birthday. It was amazing!More
