We dined with another couple having chosen Restaurant Clementine because of its location and traditional fare. We were very pleased with the food, friendliness of the staff and owner and with the overall quaint and warm feeling of the place. We lingered over a long catch up conversation before ordering and were never pressured to read the menu and place our order. The price was reasonable for central Paris and the food was well-prepared. Would definitely return.

My wife and I stumbled upon this wonderful bistro, just round the corner from our hotel. The menu was short but very interesting. I had a smoked herring croquette with a beetroot sorbet to start followed by chicken in a wild mushroom sauce. My wife had poached eggs in a red wine sauce followed by a sea bass flambéed in pastis. All very good indeed! We drank an inexpensive Sauvignon Blanc from Chenonceau. We will return soon!

Ate here on first night in Paris and returned on our third night it was that good. Small, casual, lovely couple taking care of diners. But most importantly the food was consistently excellent. User friendly and reasonable menu. All starters 9.5euros and things like cream of watercress soup with beetroot sorbet, terrine of duckling, polenta with snails. All mains 22 euros for dishes such as veal chop in mushroom cream, salmon in sorrel cream on simmered leaks - all perfectly prepared. Good deserts and usable wine list. Lots of locals eating here as well as tourists, because of course, Paris is a tourist town like NYC, etc and there will be tourists in any restaurant. Food was not heavy, just good, and we felt wonderful when we left. This is the type of restaurant I wish we had at home, and would eat at weekly. Cheers!

This is our current favorite restaurant and even though it's be a while since we dined here, we still experience the same delicious cuisine prepared with care. It's French style and unique to the chef and his market ingredients. Pleasant atmosphere.

We were looking for someplace to dine for just my husband and i. We were in Paris on a tour. Dinner was up to us. We walked in. Right away we were seated. Which surprised us. Even with not speaking very good French, they were so accommodating and recommended dinner entrees that were superb.

One of our favorite places to dine in Paris as the welcome is always warm and the cuisine is authentic market French. It's a casual, fun convivial place, good for a small group of friends. And they have expanded out on the sidewalk. Reasonable prices.

We came to Paris for a few days with our family. After a few medicore restaurants with non reasonable prices, bad and rude service we had a lovely dinner and will come for another one, and not for the price, but for the Great food they serve.
We were a party of 5, we came not hungry at all, but the good smell and the tasty starters opened our apetite.
So we had the polenta with snails, goat sheese in crusty pastry and the celery terine with goat cheese. Yummy... For main we shared the rabbit stuffed with prunes, and the thick bull steak. The rabbit was really good, the steak was chewy, but it is a bull, not the cheffs fault. After that, we asked for 2 more starters, the salmon terine and the sausage in brioche. Yummy again. Foe desert, a rich rum baba. Lovely evening in a very good and tasty restaurant!

This restaurant has such a special place in our hearts. We first found it 26 years ago and were thrilled to find such an authentic family-run restaurant in the heart of Paris.
It is tiny and is certainly no modern eatery, but the food is so delicious and it is clear that the place is a favourite for locals and has mostly regular customers. That's all the recommendation that you can ask for when it comes to where to enjoy a taste of Paris.

This is a family run restaurant in central Paris that offered excellent food and prompt, friendly service. This restaurant clearly has some regulars from the neighborhood as well as tourists. I think the prices were reasonable for Paris, and the quality of the food was high.

Very average(to below average) food in a quaint spot served by friendly staff. Not sure why the ratings on the various sites are so high. I basically had boiled beef and spouse had a very un inspired salmon. The environment is charming and dessert generous. We were hoping for a neighborhood bistro feel ( which it does have) but food was not worth the walk.

One of our absolute favorite restaurants in Paris. Somehow the owners remember us even though there are many months between our visits. The interior is charming and welcoming, plus they use the sidewalk as a pleasant terrace in nice weather. The menu is traditional French with a seasonal flair, lots of attention to the preparation. Good wine list with some nice Corsican selections. And the prices are reasonable. An Excellent choice.

We managed to get a reservation 45 minutes before we came. The staff was very kind and the food was delicious. I had pork that was marinated in limoncello and thyme. I don’t believe i’ve ever had more tender meat. The mashed potatoes to go with it was as good as it gets.

This has become our favorite restaurant in Paris. Very well-prepared bistro cuisine with a menu that changes with the market. The owners circulate the place and make recommendations. Friendly and welcoming. The quality is excellent and the prices are reasonable. Very intimate and quiet.

After reading reviews went to this restaurant without booking ahead and were not disappointed. On arrival received a friendly welcome with the owner showing no hesitation in accommodating the two of us. Good atmosphere, friendly and very helpful service (given we couldn’t speak French) and excellent food. Certainly the best we had eaten whilst in Paris. Both food and wine prices were reasonable by Paris standards for similar small restaurants. We both enjoyed our meal immensely and strongly recommend you try this restaurant. We would definitely return.
