Average at best, we are honestly the last people to complain this is the first review I’ve left. The food was 6-7/10. The lamb was nice but out of 4 dishes it was the only nice one. The service was rushed and lacklustre, not friendly...and welcoming. For the price I was expected to be blown away. Although the manager was lovely when we explained our issues I would look elsewhere please don’t waste your money.More

Wow wow wow! This place is incredible. From start to finish my friend and I had an amazing time. From the service to the decor and the delicious food, we would come back here in a heartbeat. The decor is mesmerising, the tree is something...else! The staff were friendly and attentive and we felt valued as diners. The food was mouthwatering. We had the tasting menu for £49.95 each which included 4 courses ranging from seaweed, duck spring rolls, sea bass, barbecued chicken, jasmine rise and banana fritters. Each dish was beautifully presented and there was a good amount of time between each course. Each course was explained to us and waited checked if we were happy with the food. The drinks were excellent too and reasonably priced We booked 3 months in advance for a Thursday night booking, even on weekdays it was packed. Understandably! Definitely a must go to if you’re in Manchester! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️More

Visited this restaurant on the 9th of July with my partner. The restaurant looks amazing and the staff were lovely. The food tasted great as well. We both hadn’t eaten all day except for breakfast which was cereal. We went out for drinks in Manchester...during the afternoon then went to this restaurant in the evening at about 8pm. We got back to our hotel at about 10:30pm and at about 11:30pm my partner started to be violently sick and have terrible diarrhoea. This was every 20 to 30 minutes throughout the rest of the night until about 7am in the morning. We both have no doubt at all that this was caused by food poisoning which can only realistically have happened at the tattu restaurant. Now I know food poisoning can take a while to come on so there is the smallest chance this could have come from something she ate the day before but we very much doubt it. I contacted tattu by email after and to be fair to them they investigated the incident but found that they couldn’t pin point the cause and basically that they didn’t think it had come from their restaurant. Shock they would say that. So I’m writing this review to warn others of our bad experience. The bill came to about £110 which isn’t cheap. Our overnight stay was completely ruined as was the day after as we had plans in Manchester but had to just go home instead.More

Me and my partner had the best experience dining with Tattu. The staff were all so welcoming and friendly and our waitress who’s name I cannot remember was so lovely and attentive. We had the tasting menu which I will be recommending to everyone as...ever single course was to die for! The portion sizes are perfect and the length of time between each one was perfect. Will definitely be recommending to everyone I know and will definitely be back.More

Absolutely incredible meal. Been wanting to visit Tattu for a while and it exceeded all of my expectations. Our server Sam was brilliant, the nicest guy which was a great start. He let us know about the set menus, we decided to go for set...menu 2 and the food was absolutely incredible. The chocolate dessert was one of the best I’ve ever had and the shrimp was just brilliant. Will definitely be back and will be recommending to all our friends and family!More

Me and my partner came to tattu to celebrate our anniversary. Our server was very knowledgable and polite, but the food and ambiance were out of this world. We both agreed that it is the best food we have ever eaten. We had tasting menu...1 which was very fairly priced at £50 each as we both felt full afterwards but extremely satisfied. We will definitely be coming back.More

Had dinner here on a Sunday. Place was full, good job I’d booked. Sat upstairs which is the best place to be. Food and service was excellent, really nice surprise. Expected food to be the weak point. Cocktails were good, could do with more beer...selection. Overall found the value to be about right. No rush for us to vacate the table which was nice.More

They are relaxed so wouldn’t think it’s an issue at all. It’s not a stuffy restaurant. Very chilled.

We did not see any children when we were there. It was quite loud in the restaurant upstairs so I would say depends if your baby would be OK with that!
