My wife and I were celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary, and we just had to choose Hawksmoor for our special night! It’s our very favourite restaurant in Manchester, and, as ever, our expectations were met, and then some! There was a terrific atmosphere, with a...packed restaurant, and it was so good to see everyone out and about again after lockdown! Hawksmoor is especially famous for the two “S’s”….steak and service!! Leo was our server throughout the evening, and she was absolutely brilliant! Very friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout. The food was sensational as always. Scallops to start (superb!) and then we shared 500g of delicious rib-eye steak! Cooked to perfection. We had also brought our own bottle of red (BYO Monday), which was a little bonus! And to round off a memorable evening, Leo presented us with complimentary cocktails for our anniversary. All in all, a fantastic night. Thank you guys, and hope to see you again very soon! Mark and BarbaraMore

Simply the best 🥂 Hawksmoor Manchester - always delivering. Porterhouse steak, creamed spinach, triple cooked chips & champagne. The level of hospitality which you receive here is second to none! We went to celebrate Danny’s 30th. We had a few too many cocktails the night...before and were slightly worse for wear. At the bar we were given a shot of tequila, grapefruit and gomme to try and clear the hangover and get us back on track - really thoughtful. Everyone knew it was his birthday and wished him well. Our sever knew the menu inside out and told us what was safe to eat. You can see all the team are extensively trained and have great knowledge on the food & drink served. The meal was possibly one of the best we have ever had. We were given a bottle of their cocktail to take away as a small birthday gift. Everything was perfect and it was fab to see the restaurant buzzing on a Friday afternoon. They are also raising money for for the homeless in manchester by donating meals. A business to be proud of.More

First time at Hawskmoor for a Sunday lunch. The staff here are all very friendly and make the dining all the more enjoyable. 4 of us had the Sunday roast, two of us sharing the Prime Rib which is well worth the money.

The food was excellent as always and I treated my parents to a retirement meal which they absolutely loved. We had the Crab on toast - 9/10 plenty of crab and the crab meat was creamy and delicious. The smoked Mackerel salad - again 9/10...and I am not a massive Mackerel fan but it was delicious. The old spot belly ribs - 7/10 I would normally give these a 10/10 however the meat wasn't as soft and they tasted slighty burnt and I was a little dissapointed this time however I have had these 4 times and the other 3 times were 10/10. We ordered the Prime RIB (1.1kg) 10/10 which was amazing and melted in the mouth with a side of Mac & Cheese 7/10 This was very nice also. They did add a service charge at the end of the bill which hasn't been added before so I found this strange (we asked to remove and tipped £30 so not a problem) and they also charged me for the Shaky Pete which we normally recieve complimentary and it was £10.50 so was a little frustrating given we dine here once a month and the bill is always over £200 but overall a very lovely meal once again.More

We visited Hawksmoor last August for our anniversary and decided to visit again for our anniversary this year! I’m so pleased to say that it was as equally as amazing as last time, clearly Hawksmoor really do not let their standards slip. Our waiter was...amazing (unfortunately didn’t catch his name) so attentive and really knowledgable about the menu. Had the potted beef & the porterhouse steak! Perfection. Can’t wait to return!More

We went for Sunday lunch yesterday, which was amazing as per usual. We brought friends with us who hadn’t been before, and they loved every minute of it. The chateaubriand was simply divine, incredible quality and literally just melted in the mouth. Special mention to...Ben who was our server. Friendly, knowledgeable and professional, a real credit and asset to your team. Many thanks for a job well done.More

Restaurant fab .. staff super but yes no children’s menu .. they do serve chips and burgers .. but real burgers unfortunately not to my 10 years old taste. We do go on Sunday as they do a Sunday dinner.
