Gorgeous Food. Lovely on the terrace while the sun was out. Service was a little slow, more staff and customers and still struggled to drinks, food menu and the bill. However, 5 star solely on the food. Amazing

Staying at the hotel on a Hilton members deal which included a light lunch, cocktails and a three course dinner with wine. It’s been absolutely excellent from an exceptionally early check in (thank you reception) right through to having just left the restaurant after dinner....We were promptly attended to both at lunch and dinner. Service was leisurely (not slow) and suited us perfectly. Food was of a very high quality as were the drinks. Nothing was too much trouble and there was a nice atmosphere in the restaurant. A big thank you to the bar/restaurant manager on duty on Sunday 23 May and his lovely staff. We had a great evening and you all worked so hard to make us feel welcome and looked after. Well done!More

Currently sat in the Store Street exchange bar, there are 2 people on the bar (it is the first weekend after indoor eating & drinking and just 2 people working the bar!) & there are 7 tables to wait on (70% of the bar area...is empty and not for social distancing) The service is shockingly slow, we have spent the last 5 minutes trying to catch someone’s eye, when someone did come over he assumed we didn’t want drinks - He couldn’t make the cocktail we asked for, they are all out of lemonade! He served another customer the wrong wine and then poured it back into the bottle (the bottle of wine is probably £6/£7 in the local Tesco so hardly saving much) I would highly suggest better management, more staff & more stock !!More

Visiting Manchester to see family and booked into the Doubletree Hilton. First morning here and breakfast in the Store Street restaurant. Greeting from the staff on the desk was welcoming and friendly. Great display of safe was of working and keeping guest safe. Restaurant in...bright, clean and plenty of space between tables. Ordering was easy and again great safety measure in place to reduce contact. Breakfast was delivered in good time, well presented and cooked perfectly. Good portions sizes and staff are happy to get you more if required. Self service drinks and small cold selection from the fridge counter. Waiting staff very friendly and professional ensuring tables are cleared and checking in to ensure everything is good. Would recommend this hotel and restaurant.More

We got the two courses for £25 deal. We ordered the steaks and fries with the chicken and sweet corn soup to start. The soup was very sweet and didn’t have the taste of chicken at all we didn’t end up eating much of it...because of this. However, it was served with a bread roll that was nice. For the mains, The steak was very tough and not very enjoyable despite ordering a medium rare. On top of this the waiters seemed nice but we were not checked on at all during the meal after we ordered. Overall was disappointing and wouldn’t go back unfortunatelyMore

Eaten here a few times, always consistently good but never quite exceptional, consistent is good though, and staff are really nice. Food is decent quality and very good selection of decent beer with some craft beers. Portions are adequate though not huge but enough. I’ve...had no sides and ok, also had sides and felt it was too much. Cheeseboard are £12 is silly money and they refuse to do a half portion which is unfortunate, better half a charge than no charge at all. The restaurant is the Doubletree by Hilton and really close to Piccadilly station.More

Wonderful dinner at Store Street. Served by Maddie, she was extremely attentive. She was totally on the ball with my gluten allergy and gave informative advice and where necessary checked with the chef. Steak was cooked to perfection and was piping hot. Nice ambiance in...restaurant. Highly recommended.More

Have eaten here a few times whilst staying at the Doubletree, of which this forms a part. Never had reason to complain or fault it. Service has always been good and prompt, food is excellent and the ambience is both warm and welcoming.
