So I booked for a dinner reservation and was so excited, heard brilliant things. What a disappointment it was, we waited quite some time which didn’t bother us too much. I had a cocktail £9 which was quite nice but did think it was on...the expensive side. Then we both ordered steak which came about 20-25 mins later, and it LOOKED nice but to put it nicely, it had no taste whatsoever and was the texture of a flip flop. Almost tasted oven cooked. Not marinated in anything by the taste of it. Was rare like I asked but didn’t look properly done and I did not eat it. My partner ate his as he was hungry but even he agreed there was something odd. Absolutely lovely lady came and she was very understanding so my experience with staff was 10/10 and they did compensate me for the steak. BUT there was a 10% service charge for £6.25. Our deserts were 8 pound each and with the extortionate prices it still came to.. for 1 meal, 4 drinks and 2 deserts, best part of 70 pound. I would just stay clear, by the sounds of things it was hit and miss.More

Booked on the back recommendations. We weren’t disappointed, great food, good service excellent surroundings. Simple menu really but all classics. Wine on the pricey side to be honest but on the whole, given the proximity to the central area of Edinburgh can’t complain too much.

I booked a table here for my partner’s birthday and the staff were so accommodating from beginning to end! The service was absolutely phenomenal - staff were friendly and attentive. The food and drinks were also fantastic! We all had a great experience and we’ll...definitely be back! Thanks so much!!More

My husband and I didn't know what restrictions would be in place in Edinburgh, so we booked this restaurant for the first night. Jamie looked after us and he was such a great host. We had a pie (jam packed of filling) and the beetroot...main with a side of haggis bon bons - they are a must!! We had cocktails instead of desert and the bill was less than expected. A fab evening in an intimate setting with fab food and drink and we were well looked after. Very safe and clean with covid rules. Will go again and would highly recommend.More

Visited Badger and Co during our holiday to Edinburgh. The food was delicious; I had the steak pie and it was stuffed with filling. Would definitely visit again and recommend to friends.

A sunny day meant a busy afternoon at Badger&Co but we still received amazing service from the staff on shift. The plant burger was delicious and we’ll definitely be back to try some cocktails!

Post pandemic, customers do not realise that the hospitality industry has been decimated and then some, with all the over worked and under appreciated and understaffed venues doing their very best just to get through the week. Badger n co is SMASHING IT cocktails and...serves are fantastic, I’m a cocktail bartender and I can say hand on my heart, the team needs a heavy pat on the back. 5*’s.More

I've been here twice in the past few weeks and simply cannot fault anything. The staff are fanastic, the food is amazing and the cocktails are fabulous! I love the secret garden. The best cocktail has to be, "you can't trust a fox" and the...steak and Neipa pie, is one of the best things I've ever tasted. Melts in the mouth. An absolute gem in the heart of Edinburgh.More

Staff lovely, friendly and attentive. Followed Covid guidelines and took our temperatures prior to being seated and all tables had a bottle of hand sanitiser on them. Cocktails are superb. Freshly made and very very good.

Hi ayeaway, The restaurant dining is on the ground floor and we have bathrooms on the ground floor, unfortunately due to the building there are 3 steps into the venue. Hope this is of use. Kind regards, Struan
