First class friendly service and tasty food. Music was too loud but overall a wonderful meal. Maybe portions are a little too small but otherwise we enjoyed everything

had to try it as 32 in the world, no table cloths, tables cramped, good service from young people wearing some very scruffy and dirty clothing, set menu, in general food is good, however although the plate was hot the pheasant was cold and over...cooked, value for money yes, would i go back noMore

Went here recently with a group of friends and wasn't overwhelmed by any stretch of the imagination. Service was acceptable with a heavy upselling emphasis and the food was perfectly acceptable. Biggest issue I have is effectively spending £50 on two small tapas size "mains"...and leave feeling hungry.More

Delightful and knowledgeable service. Exciting cooking with prime seasonal ingredients. Interesting wine list with a decent choice by the glass and at the reasonable end of the list.

Had an amazing time at this establishment. Food was ridiculously good. Aoife was my waitress and was super kind, sweet and personable. Will definitely be back to try again.

I had the best experience ever! I went in for lunch on a Saturday and it was perfect from start to finish. The food was like heaven and the staff were the friendliest people!! Aoife was my waitress and was super kind and the most...attentive! She knew it was my bday so she made it extra special! Thank you for a wonderful experience! I cannot WAIT to be back for that menu!!!More

Lyle’s has a nice location but especially great service. The place becomes dark inside as the sun goes down and you can barely see what you are eating. Small detail but it adds to a few reasons that make this a 4 star rather than...5 star spot. When you have a Michelin star, you need to have something to hang your hat on. Yet, while all the food is very good, nothing is “memorable.” There is no “warhorse” so to speak. It needs a star, and then the great quality of all the rest will fall on place. As said, great service, low bill and a nice location round out a pleasant evening - if not a truly memorable one. Good place.More
