Mushroom on toast was gorgeous as were my partner's pork ribs. We both had the 10oz fillet steak, medium rare for our main meal. Wow the meat just melted in the mouth and the triple cooked chips were the best chips I've had in my...life. The only down side, and this was from my partner's point of view was that the chips and steak were already salted and he doesnt usually add salt to a meal. I love salt and both the chips and steak were salty enough for me so don't forget to taste first before adding more. We were also staying here for 4 nights in one of the rooms above so I will put a separate review on for that. The owner/manager was a really friendly man.More

Came here last minute with the wife for a night away from the kids. We booked on the day and the man on the phone was extremely informative and helpful. All covid measures in place making us feel very relaxed all was in hand. Our...host Jade gave us a 5* service from start to finish. The food was AMAZING! I have eaten 5* steak all over the world and this is up there with the best. I honestly can’t recommend it enough. Every item of food we had on the evening even including the mushrooms & tomatoes were cooked with care and delicious. We will be back in a few weeks with friends for more. Thank youMore

Spent 170 quid on food and wine. Bought the chateaubriand for 56 pounds... Asked to substitute one of the chips with sweet potato fries, which are the same price on the menu, they refused. We had to pay extra to not have chips and have...sweet potato fries. The principle of this really put a downer on the whole evening and the response was because the ingredients cost more. We wouldn't have minded paying a surcharge. But had to pay the full amount and were told we had to have chips. Awful service which ruined the evening. Whereby the steak is pretty decent.More

Being a big steak lover. I spotted this place straight away when visiting Bristol. Got a Taxi there as it’s a bit out of the way. Sat down looking forward to ordering a big steak from there very large selection of big steaks, of which...they are known for. Ordered either the 54oz or the 36oz T bone, which is the majority of the menu, to be told, sorry but we only have the 36oz. So ordered it, only to be told they have none of these. We have no big T bones left, only a Tomahawk. Very disappointing for a place that pretty much only does steak, but doesn’t have anything they show!!! Surely a note to say. Please check availability to avoid disappointment, would be the least they could do. Poor to say the least and to get rather bad attitude for not wanting the alternative that was offered. What happened to the customer is always right???????? Big let down after travelling from ManchesterMore

First visit to Ashville Steakhouse, was not disappointed. Tomahawk steak was excellent and good value, nearly as good as one from another famous Bristol steakhouse that is named after a cow field, at almost half the price. Ribs and all accompaniments were also excellent. Service...was good although it was hard to hear the waiter due to the place being quite noisy at first and he was wearing a mask. Some soft furnishings to damp down the noise a bit would help. The only disappointing thing was the cheesecake, which wasn't really a dense, baked one like I was expecting, but was more like a mousse. Overall though, excellent food, good value and would definitely visit again.More

Had a midday lunchtime meal here with the boys, I would say it was a bistro pub, great staff. We had steaks which were melt in the mouth and a burger to die for. Everything was spot on and looking forward to going again.

We’ve be coming to this restaurant for a number of years and have food to take away during lockdown. The food is always of excellent quality. The customer service is fantastic and there’s always a licentious welcoming atmosphere. Communication regarding take away orders has been...great and the steak is still very hot when taken away. The steak is some of the best I’ve ever tasted. The Biscoff cheesecake is incredible. Can’t wait to visit again in person.More

Had a delicious family takeaway. The steaks were fantastic, burger was lush and the puddings (cheese cake and carrot cake) finished the meal off with a flourish. Here is my T-Bone after picture.
