I care here after reading the good reviews online. I tried a couple of espresso coffees that were very good, but I have to say the best of the lot was the decaf to my surprise, as I never usually order this, but it was...so tasty! They owner was really friendly and talked to me a lot about where he sources beans from and his espresso recipe which was super interesting. I’ll certainly be visiting again!More

Visited full court today due to the positive response on tripadvisor, staff were friendly enough but apart from that I’m not sure what the fuss is about, coffee was pretty weak tasting and pre made in a jug (not fresh espresso) and pretty expensive to...boot, nothing in regards of indoor seating or food most likely due to the size of the premises and COVID restrictionsMore

The attention to detail here in this quaint little hidden gem is impressive, great knowledge, lots of enthusiasm for their coffee, and it tastes great!

If you appreciate good coffee, you've found your place. Two story cafe with outdoor seating in one of the oldest parts of Bristol. Staff who know their beans and will give you their time and knowledge. Loyal customer for over 5 years, never disappointed.

This place is fantastic if you take your coffee seriously. A good selection of roasts, and very little else to the 'menu'. Theres a small note to say they have other drinks, but really won'y bother going unless coffee if your thing. There cakes/ pastries...are first rate also. Only downside is its a bit tight on seatingMore

We sat and watched in awe as the barista made the coffee here. They literally weigh every serving of ground coffee so that they can satisfy themselves that every single coffee is presented in exactly the same proportion. Who else does that??? This is a...small but wonderful cafe. Go there.More

I don't really know much about coffee except I love it (but not too strong). I visited on a recommendation of a friend but if I'm honest I was worried I wouldn't know what to order and choose something too strong. When I arrived the...staff explained the menu to me in loads of detail, was very patient. And the coffee I ordered was incredibly delicious. I also thought it was so beautiful how much love the barista put into making it. Oh and the cake was yummy too.More

So, I’m somewhat of a coffee snob, which is both a blessing and a curse for all concerned. I therefore drink in independents whenever possible. Can’t believe I’ve never tried this place before but came here on recommendation and it didn’t disappoint. The staff are...friendly and knowledgeable, there was a choice of 2 different beans available and the coffee was among the best I’ve ever drunk. It’s small and cosy in there and good choice of cakes available when I went too. If you’re serious about coffee, give this place a tryMore
