I've been meaning to try this out for some time and when the occasion arose, Sunday lunch it was. The food was OK, but not spectacular. Meat not surprisingly the highlight, but the veg could have been a bit more plentiful. Poor choice of beer...in my opinion. Won't be rushing back as there are plenty more places that serve up a much better Sunday roast in Bristol these days.More

Managed to get a seating for 8 on Saturday night. Food was good. It is a steakhouse. Thought service was even better. Would try again

I always head here for business meetings, the food is great and the service is amazing. It is pet friendly as one of my meetings my colleague brought her dog. Very tasty food, menus change regularly but food is great.

Went here with my family recently, I wish they had one in London. I've not written a review before, and don't like to give 5 stars but it's probably worth it.. Lovely staff, food is well sourced, well presented, and perfectly cooked and the flavours...delicious. It has a family vibe too. It's not cheap, but is still great value for the quality of food, service and experience. I will be back. JamesMore

We visited for Sunday lunch for my daughters birthday - it was served within 5 minutes of ordering all on a board, not very hot! Meat was fine just ok,lots of potatoes- but not enough veg for 3 of us - cauliflower cheese was not...saucy but bland, too much red cabbage and the gravy was thin and weak tasting. Chocolate tart was expensive and claggy and it was all slightly underwhelming. No effort was made for our 14 year olds birthday not as much as a candle in her desert and we mentioned when booking which was a shame. £100 for an average Luke warm Sunday lunch is not really good enough for the price I expect better tasting food and service. The music was so loud we couldn’t talk either, really loud ?? Not the greatest of visits!!! Not sure we’d return there are better quality better priced Sunday lunches elsewhere.More

A buzzy restaurant with a good choice. A lunch time - well priced -special menu. The steak and tomato pie was delicious. The whitebait was undercooked for my liking-but- this was happily dealt with. The service was friendly and efficient.

With Steak and Chips at £30 to £40, I expected quality, but alas..... Steaks were unevenly cooked and the very tough rump steak had to returned and although replaced without fuss, the second one was only marginally better. We also had a rack of ribs...and at £30, I have had much better at half that price. Chips ranged from OK to soggy, so a lack of quality overall. In summary, a pretentious and very expensive restaurant whose poor quality food is definitely not worth the money.More
