I think it is by far the best Greek restaurant/tavern I have eaten in (I love the mediterranean cuisine). The place itself and the view are fabulous, it's something that remains in your mind and heart until the next time you come. Staff: if I were to say that they are kind, it would be too little. They are so special, from those who are on the terrace, always attentive to customers, to the gentleman and lady who cook - who you will rarely notice, but only if you are curious to see the people who prepare such marvelous dishes. The fish, vegetables and all are fresh, authentic and delicious. Olive oil and lemon seem better than anywhere, the dressings are fabulous, every disc has like a magical touch. I've been in Agyos Nikitas for a few days and I don't want to eat anywhere else until we leave (second time here, same story...) because a dinner served in another place would just be a waste. P.S. As an advice: when you see people waiting and waiting to have a free table on a tavern, don't leave. Just wait. All the experience will be special.

My wife and I have been here 2 times with our baby. Just 1 minute walk from Agio Nikitas beach. We had fresh fish both times and choose them directly from the freezer. Upon our request they also boiled some vegetables for our baby. Top service!

Our favourite restaurant in Aghios Nikitas Hidden down an alleyway away from the Main Street of restaurants They don’t accept reservations so we waited 15 minutes for a table in which we had drinks whilst waiting Pretty views of the sea. We had fava bean purée, tsatsiki, dolmades, lamb chops and the beetroot ravioli which was amazing and served in a gorgeous dill butter sauce. House wine was good value at €5 a half litre carafe. Excellent!

This restaurant has a great location right by the sea but unfortunately you can't book and sometimes have to wait a long time to be seated and for your food. We ate here a few times during our recent stay. Mostly it was good but on the last night we had a really bad experience. The incorrect dish was brought out for me and so although they agreed to change it, this meant I had to wait another 30 minutes plus by which time my husband had finished his meal. When it arrived, my mussels were inedible. When I told the waitress this, she merely said that no one else had complained. I didn't see anyone else even eating mussels... There was no offer to amend the bill and this level of service was very disappointing, especially as we had eaten there a few times already. Such a shame.

Tucked away up a side street, with a perfect view, T’agnantio is small. Maybe a dozen tables and a peaceful approach to providing wonderful food. No booking, consequently queuing from mid-evening. I wish the resident Greek μαμά would give me their recipe for gigantes because all I can manage to create at home is giant, oily baked beans. Eat two helpings or come back next year. Enormous servings of tuna, seared to your preference, fresh (yes fresh) kalamari, so much you don’t need chips (given vote of confidence by 2 1/2 year old). A thin pastry envelope enclosing hot feta, smothered in honey and sesame seeds, just out of the oven, could have been both a savoury or desert. Chips, bread, dolmades etc etc. Four adults, one child. No alcohol ( by choice) less than 100 euros. Brilliant. Thankyou.

Don't understand the good ratings, this restaurant is mediocre. We ate in a lot of places in Lefkada and this was one of the less exciting ones. Didn't have anything special on the menu. The quality and service isn't up to standard. The squids are frozen which it also says on the menu. They serve french fries instead of home baked potatos. The fish are overpriced. They also charged us the bread even if we didn't touch it. Trully disappointing.

Everything was fantastic about this restaurant - the view was unreal and the portions very generous and delicious. Ordered a lot of different dishes and every one was perfect. Tip: get there before 8pm to have the best seats in the house for sunset

We have visited this restaurant a number of times in the last few years and it never disappoints. Friendly welcome, great food, lovely atmosphere, great service. Enjoyed starters of fried courgettes and fava puree which were great and then mussels saganaki with so much feta cheese and grilled swordfish. A delicious meal in one of our favourite restaurants on the island. Will definitely return.

Our host recommended we come here to try the food and such a great surprise. To be able to walk outside the busy main pedestrian street and step into a world of peaceful relaxation and Greek food palace of tastes. If you are in Lefkada YOU HAVE to come here and make sure you arrive before the busy dinner times (after 19:30-22:00). My recommended courses, if you want to try: 1. Start with a zucchini balls plate (contains 6 pieces) 2. Then try any dish with shrimps and pasta (fresh) or go for a dorata fish (you get to choose the fresh fish from their fridge, and they will cook the exact one you picked) 3. For desert you can try one of the two options: yoghurt with honey or yoghurt with bitter cherries. Even the location itself is beautiful (yes, this is for you photographers/Instagram creators!). Like this review if it was helpful. Thank you and enjoy your Greek vacation!

Definitely worth the wait. Tonight was our third attempt to get a table. We arrived early and not disappointed. A table overlooking the sea while the sun went down. The staff were helpful, the service was good and not rushed. A great variety of options on the menu. My son happy with beef patties and myself delighted with shrimp pasta , with the kitchen offering to take the shells off. There is also a good range of salads. Prices slightly less than most other restaurants in the village. Very enjoyable.

The view and setting make this a unique experience even before you order. You are welcomed to a friendly family owned Taverna like no other in the area. We were here so many times that we can especially recommend the fresh fish, fresh calamari, octopus and sardines. The horta and imam were the best in the village. Even the quality of their bread, from the tiny mountain village of Exanthia was extra delicious especially with their tzatziki ! Great service from Christos and Konstantinos on every visit. Always made us feel very welcome. As it is summer 2021 it should be noted that the table hygiene standards were the best anywhere .

We have been coming here for years and love everything about this traditional Greek restaurant. It is so good it is hard not eat here every night in our one month stay! Fabulous location with breathtaking views with excellent service from Kristos and the amazing kitchen team. This is a family run restaurant and standards are consistently excellent. The chef who is the owner sets a very high standard. The fresh locally source ingredients from fish, calamari, salads, chorta and a wide variety of meat dishes make this restaurant stand out. Even their bread comes from a tiny hilltop bakery that has it baked in a wood oven! Do not hesitate to go here and be prepared to wait as no reservations are taken and it is popular.

Be there early since they don’t get any reservations or else you will have to wait for an empty table. There are plenty of options for meat or fish lovers but what impressed me that there were 7-8 main dishes prepared only for vegans (not the usual Greek ones). We had vegetarian yiaourtlou, agnadio salad and fried peppers. Everything was amazing. Approx 37 euro including 0,5 lt rose wine

Tucked away from the buzz of the main street but still with an amazing view of the beach & sea, this small family run restaurants goes at its own pace. We arrived at 8pm and waited about 40mins for a table - but that was fine as everyone was in the same boat. Even regulars waited in the queue which culminated in tables with drinks provided as you near the end. But the whole point is the food - which was amazing. The 2 waiters plus chefs in the kitchen care and it shows. The prices are the same as the other places nearby, but the food and experience is better.

I couldn't have skipped this place, even if my stay was quite short!Last time I came here I had the delicious tuna and now I tried the Rib Eye...Juicy,tender with an amazing taste. The whole family (staff) was quite subservient, not to mention fully vaccinated while keeping the right distances and measurements!
