Drive through Porto Covo(only 2 surf schools) for about 500 metres, first restaurant on left not attractive to outside view and fairly simply inside, but it seats about 100. No English spoken, sea food was superb, we had a whole dourado and sole, with vegatables and salad and drinks, bill came to 36 euros. Great value,highly recommended

We liked it so much that we went to dinner one day and lunch the next! Restaurant of typical appearance and very welcoming. We ate a delicious apricot rice with fried shrimp in one of the meals and in the other a puddle and a shell of bull also fantastic! Very generous amounts! For dessert, we managed to find a typical Algarve candy in the Alentejo, the Don Rodrigo, better made than some we have already tried in the Algarve! Even the olives at the entrance were delicious and well seasoned! Although we have got a place on top of the clock on a Sunday, we recommend the Reservation given it is a very frequent place.
