The service was confused and unpleasant. Plates didn't come in the same time. They brought first dish, after that we waited 10 min for another 2 meals and 5 min for the last dish. The portion was very small, fries were soft with bad taste, a few parts of meat raw. Absolutely didn't worth the money we spent. I don't recommend this restaurant.

Called in for a quick bite to eat , menus said half chicken with chips and salad, piri price. What I got was no bigger than a small pigeon,if even also ordered squid rigs, I've eaten squid before but never anything like this. Never again

There wasn't much to choose from for dinner in Porto Covo, as most restaurants were closed and we had to have dinner at Vasco da Gama. The service was good from a Brazilian employee. The menu features frozen food dishes, no fresh local fish, which is a shame, especially because the prices are high. It wasn't bad but I wouldn't recommend it if you have another option.

Cold food and ridiculously small food quantity on the plate. I asked for the Lagartos dish which came cold with cold fries. Clearly the food has been sitting waiting to be brought to the table for a long time. My husband's cação à marinheiro came cold and was tasting bland. When letting the waiter know of the situation, her defense was that they were busy and no one else ever complained about the amount of food on the plate. Totally disregarded what I was saying and had a very arrogant approach to the situation. Trust me I didn't want to eat like there's no tomorrow, I just wanted to pay 15 euros for a decent plate of food. Do not eat here, you will pay a lot and not experience Portuguese food as you should. I spend every summer in Porto Covo and there are great restaurants here. This is not one of them. Avoid!!!

Not for one person gave and asked us 18,90€. The black pig bugs 18,90€ was still what was more. For each ice tea 2.30€, beer 2.50€ each and an imperial 2.30€. At the Vasco da Gama Restaurant, where we had dinner a few times during our 5-day stay in Porto Covo, we have to praise the wonderful food, from Bacalhau na Telha to Cação à Pescador. Not to mention the delicious pizzas that made the kids happy. Regarding the accommodation, we have to say that, although the rooms are simple, they are very pleasant and always very clean. If we want, we can change the bed sheets and towels every day. We want to highlight the friendliness and professionalism of D. On 9/6, on one of those walks along the pedestrian street, we decided to stop at this place to taste some snails. Worst mistake. It's worth nothing, from the service to the snails. Poorly made.
