Simply the worst

We had the most terrible experince since we came to Porto Covo. The environment was very noisy and couldn't even speak to each other. Very bad food. They didn't respect the social distance rules,and 50% of capacity at the restaurant. We do not recomend! Go to another one.

The food was good. Meat dishes are okay, but the fish was really good. Typically portgugese food. The servant was nice and friendly.

dont even know where to start.. just pitty i didnt checked tripadvisor before going to this place! really really bad service.. hair in the food, but looks like it is normal, nobody cares.. the servers, have competitions with each other so see who is working less! they do nothing, its like you are not there.. the food.. oh God!!!!! and hair? the owner didnt care at all.. well RUN!!!!

40 waiting for someone to order. 35 min after, drinks came. Food never came. Have to leave! After that, friends told me that it was known for being the worst, by far in Porto Côvo. Avoid!!!

Very poor quality and service

Service is bad and slow, portions are small and it ain't cheap... They were always interrupting my lunch bringing food that was ordered by other tables. There are better places nearby.

Wish I'd read the reviews before we visited. Easily the worst meal out that I've had in a long time. Crab starter only tasted of mayonnaise and the mixed grill was tough and inedible.

Very big attitude with very average service

Food is decent, nothing spectacular but a good dish of fish and glass of wine is easy to get in many places, including that one. The 4 of us went for lunch and restaurant has been busy, it was peak lunch time, but doesn’t justify the attitude of waiters. We waited for food for 1 hour 15 min while other tables that have arrived after us were being served before. Grilled fish arrived first, another grilled dish took 75min and waiters tried to explain it “takes time to grill” or simply walked away with no discernible answer after we asked at least 4-5 times. A couple of times food from other table tried to end up on ours-guess there is no clear system as to who serves which tables. Saw other tables waiting around us and being served the same-attitude. It’s ok to be busy, it’s ok to make mistakes but it’s not serving business well not to admit mistakes and never apologize for them

Can we give worse then 1? Run from this place

Me and my wife went to Porto Covo for dinner...we though a nice fish meal with good weather and near the sea. All restaurants there were full, but this had a smaller waiting list (now we know why) . THe owner tried to get us a table very quickly outside. So far so good. We got the table , employee gave us the list and we choosed the entré and main dish . All far so good... Sangria came and he poored it in the glass, very badly (my glass was full of ice and fruit and almost no ice) . The entreé , mouls, were excelent. For main dish i choosed "choco frito" and my wife a grilled fish. The fish came first , she waited a little....but my dish came much later. I tried to ask but nobbody was able to answer... My wife began to eat and the fish was horrible (seemed to be grilled hours before and reheaded in the microwave, 3 small botatos and a sample of salat... Later my dish arrived, seemed good and minutes later the employee came with another dish... (well..i had to wait a lot and suddenly same dish twice? ) ... Everybody was complaining the service , but mostly because they didn't had a atm payment...only cash. And to get the bill...i had almost to beg for it...and it the end...50 euros for a horrible meal.... RUn from this place...

We arrived, the restaurant was empty and the waiter took long time to decide where we can seat. After make the decision of having an traditional Alentejo dish, "carne de porco à alentejana" we had an huge disappointment. The meat was ok, but the migas were probably the worst I ever had. The salad on top is the sauce is also not a good idea. Bottom line, it's the worst restaurant In Porto Covo

This restaurant is too pricey for the quality of the sangria or food provided. You have other options in Porto Covô, which besides being cheaper are amazing in quality.

Avoid this restaurant

We asked two meals of ameijoa a bulhao pato and one of shrimps. The bulhao pato sauce has nothing to do with the true sauce, and was just bad. The shrimps, with a basic taste, were so few that the four of us weren't able to eat 2 each. The bathroom was awfull, and the ambience was just vulgar. Thid restaurant will go bankrupt doon enough.
