To be honest out first choice was Gatto Nerro but it was closed for holidays. The guys were very welcoming and helpful in understanding the menu. We shared the queen scallops to start. Divine. Highly recommended. We had the risotto next which I think we...misunderstood. We thought there was seafood in it. But it had seaweed instead. It was good but way too much for even two people. The baby squid with spinach followedcto share which was excellent. Very very good coffee. Lovely quite ambience away from the Main Street.More

Stopped here for lunch. Had an apetizer and a first course with wine. Both utterly oustanding. And the staff was friendly and very attentive to us. Quick service, fairly prized and a nice view. I couldn't ask for more! Highly recommended!

We stayed the night in Burano after a visit to the Venissa winery. The weather had suddenly turned colder and we were looking for somewhere to dine with covered seating. We actually walked away from the center of town and found this incredible gem. Leonardo...assisted us with selections and we were amazed at how good the antipasti and seafood risotto were(their signature dish).Complimenti to chef Matteo and Leonardo for an outstanding experience. Do not miss this for pranzo o cena if you are in Burano.More

Had a very good lunch here on our tour in Burano. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The food wasn't exceptional but it was still very good.

Do yourself a favor and eat here! The new owner is so lovely and welcoming and I have to say that he has the best chef in Italy working for him. Matteo the chef has an incredible talent. I have eaten at many fancy restaurants...and his food is by far the most flavorful I have ever eaten. I have come all the way from Australia and will rerun to Burano, just to eat Matteo’s food again. Thank you to the owner , Matteo and the super friendly staff for giving me an exceptional experience. I will be back. 🥰 Melissa ❤️More

This restaurant alone, is a reason to come to Venice. It is still somewhat of a secret that Michelin star chef, Matteo Tagliapietra is running the kitchen here, in Osteria Museo. Matteo’s food is truly ‘next level’ - even for those who ‘love’ fine dining,...his creations are a culinary marvel. Matteo, has had a shift of focus, and is now preparing food that ‘ordinary folk’ can really enjoy. The owner of Osteria Museo is a wonderful man - and he brings a warmth and generosity to the place that pairs perfectly with Matteo’s food. A match made in heaven. Do yourself a favour, make the trip over to Burano - and have lunch or dinner here, at this secret gem of a restaurant. Once the secret is out, it might be hard to get a table …. Grazzi Mille … and Bravo - Osteria Al Museo Burano. XxMore

Glorious lunch in April sunshine with a view of the square and out to the lagoon. Service was up market but friendly, and the pasta with clams was the best I have ever had, it tasted of the sea. My husband loved his main as...well. The wine was also lovely and we lost a happy hour and a half over the best meal of the holiday.More

A very full and hot no 12 waterbus but worth the journey for our best meal so far. Recommended by the lady we met in Murano this restaurant near to the lace museum probably gets missed by a lot of people because it’s a bit...of a further walk than the first main drag off the waterbus. We ordered the simple mozzarella and tomato salad to share, the local risotto with lagoon fish which was very delicately delicious and shared their pannacota for dessert. At around 90 euro with just one glass of wine each it was a elegant lunch treat for us compared with some of what we have been served in Venice itself. Everyone was ordering the Fritto Misto which looked amazing and worth a return journey in itself. Watch out it’s a big portion.More

We had a wonderful extended lunch at Osteria al Museo after visiting Murano and Burano. The wine list was very good and the food delicious. The management and wait staff were very welcoming and professional, and it was the best meal we have had in...Venice. The fritto misto is excellent, and we have an outstanding gazpacho for a primi. Highly recommend.More

On a short trip to Burano we sat down in this restaurant and what a pleasant experience that was! The service was perfect and the food was outstanding. The menu was well balanced with great dishes to choose from. We had the cod and mussels...for starter…highly recommended!! The oriental chicken as maincourse and the Bigoli in salsa where a feast of taste!! To end this pleasentness we had a panna cotta like we never had before…a mix of bittter and sweet flowery taste that left us speachless!! Highly recommended place for a wonderful experience.More

This restaurant is set on a square, a bit away from the throngs of people in the main part of Burano. The service was excellent - our waiter gave us a history of each dish we chose, and we were given good wine recommendations. The...food was delicious, and the outside tables were comfortable and pleasant. It was an enjoyable experience.More

We had a few recommendations for lunch but we chose this restaurant by chance. Bad choice. The risotto was good, service was good too but I wouldn't reccomend it or go back. The price was really exaggerated, 74 euros for two drinks and two risottos.

Only came to Burano for a quick look at the houses and some lunch. You get to look at all the other restaurants on the wall through town and whilst they looked fine, we decided to keep going and search out this place as it...had good reviews. It is on a quiet location but very pleasant. We shared a burrata starter, and some white wine. Followed by the shared risotto main with the lagoon fish. The risotto could be considered expensive at €23 per person, but is the same price at other restaurants. Very enjoyable sat outside with the heaters and warmed us up no end on a rather cold and windy day. Would recommend.More
