We started with Bruschetta (sliced roasted bread) dressed with lard, cheese and chopped tomatoes as our antipasti and then skipped a fine selection of primo dishes to enable space for our main course. So we moved straight on to a tenderly cooked Tagliata di manzo...(steak cut into thin slices) which was accompanied by roast potatoes and grilled veg as well as cracking bottle of house Chianti. There was a wine list but we had no need to look further than the house red. A friendly relaxed atmosphere, ideal for couples or with friends. It's advisable to book in advance at the weekends.More
