Not a fan of the pregnant server. Even though she is pretty and super friendly her being pregnant affected our service. Her family showed up while we were eating and we noticed that distracted her from her job.
The meal itself was incredible and with...proper future planning we will definitely be returning.More
I was here back in the summer and came back for seconds, the service was amazing the waitress was very friendly and helpful with some questions we had and the wait wasn’t very long I had the Salisbury steak and my friend had the pork...chops the food was amazing it’s definitely on my list to visit in the springMore
We were on an Alaskan cruise and got diverted to Prince Rupert. We had no idea what to expect. Read the reviews for Naomi's Grill and decided to take a chance. We were not dissapointed. Small mom and pop restaurant, but the cod was outstanding....You won't make a mistake going here itMore
This is a family owned restaurant, haunted by the locals. Good food and the best fries in town. Well within walking distance from major hotels and B&B's. Service slow, but worth the wait for fresh fish cooking and delicious food.
Found this place by looking here on TA. Great place. The service was wonderful and friendly. The fish and chips was plentiful and fresh. The batter was not heavy or overbearing. Wanted to try the pie but was too full.
We were looking to get some comfort food and we came upon Naomi's menu on their Facebook page. We decided to eat here for dinner as it looked most attractive and inviting.
When we went into the restaurant, we seated ourselves at one of the...many cozy-looking booths inside. It was clean and neat and has a good ambiance. Overall, the place has a cohesive theme of old Prince Rupert with the old blown-up photos of the town in the late 1800s to early 1900s. The neutral furnishings also added to its charm. We did notice a lot of tables were already taken and people are still coming in for dinner as well - most of them were families.
Our server was smiling and courteous; also seemed to be very versed with the menu. Speaking of the menu, we noted that the physical menus were showing wear and tear - with pages ripped and falling out. Some items were crossed out by hand - reminded us of Galaxy Garden's very outdated menu.
Special note: Rotisserie Chicken is indicated to be only available Friday and Saturday and the Country Fried Steak is not part of the menu anymore contrary to what is shown in their Facebook page menu.
While the food is very good, I wouldn't recommend coming here if you're in a rush. Food preparation is very slow. We waited for about 30-35 minutes for our order to get served. The orders are done one by one, even if the place is quite busy.
However, the wait was worth it. The Chicken tenders and fries were so good. Chicken tenders had light, crispy and golden brown texture along with the crunch on the fries. We really enjoyed how tasty these were. We recommend getting a side gravy to fully enjoy the flavour of their Chicken tenders. The Grilled Corn Beef sandwich was very good as well, coupled with the same awesome fries. Before we know it, we were getting stuffed.
At the end of the meal, we were very impressed by the food. We would definitely recommend and come back here.More
We always stop here for lunch or brunch. They have really good eggs Benedict, and a good size menu with lots of choices for everyone. The food is hot and very tasty, and prepared by the owner who takes pride in what she’s doing .
This little gem was recommended to me so I thought I would go and check it out and wasn’t disappointed the service was awesome and the food was great tried the veal cutlets with the loaded mashed and veggies the dinner menu is a little...small but overall great food.More
