While all looked good this was our second time here no problem previously we had the same set menu both times which included mussels, mackerel and various kimchi dishes. My wife and I this morning have severe pains and diarrhoea. We know it was here...because it was the only time in 24 hours we ate the same food. We are sure it was the mussels because our daughter does not eat seafood. There was mackerel and she did eat that. My advice do not do touch the mussels. This is the most severe dose I'm talking 6 cans in less than an hour folks take my word for it you do not want it.More

Ate here twice, enjoyed both times, for sure. Once seated, then choose any of several dishes from a menu and get ready to COOK! In the table center is a grill pot, where the fire is lit, the grill is placed atop it, with fumes...sucked out by a pull-down nozzle & hose. The ordered items are brought by a server (along with a pair of scissors to cut the meat) and the grill master (you?!) then places them on the hot grill, cooking them to desired rarity/well-done. Of course, none of this is complete without the greatest desert: (Korean) Bingsu! This fine eatery certainly gets my “Wheel of Approval!”More

We went here the other night as we love Korean food (especially BBQ). I've spent a few years in Korea and unfortunately this place is not 100% authentic. The meat is sliced in medallions, not strips, and the Korean salad ("Patcha") did not have the...correct ingredients. The meat tasted good but we did feel a bit rushed as they only give you 90 minutes to order, eat and pay. They were quite busy on a weeknight but were good about refilling sauces and side dishes.More

While Korean isn't one of my favorite cuisines, our group of 3 enjoy LumLum when we want to grill beef, especially Kalbi & seasoned sirloin. The food and the place are clean, meat quality is good, large menu to choose from, service is efficient &...pleasant, and tables aren't cramped together.More

It was crowded with Korean and local Thai and foreign customers. In a convenient location if you drive - the original Meechok- Reemchok shopping center. good assortment of appetizers, barbecue, and traditional Korean dishes. My family orders the barbecue served on a burner in the...middle of the table. I am vegetarian so always order the vegetable pancake (Paejun) and rice cakes with spicy sauce (Dokbokki) and Bibimbap without the meat. It is a good, typical Korean restaurant with all the expected side dishes and a good menu. Service was good, considering the crowd and price was moderate. Definately a place to return to.More

Family lunch - tasteful and close to traditional Korean style BBQ - very good value, especially if you're hungry! The plates just keep coming until you sat stop! I think better for dinner than lunch and only criticism really was the K-pop being slightly overpowering...for a relaxing feel. Staff were attentive and pleasant.More

Righty O, I've been to this restaurant 3 times now and have my conclusions to share. It should fall in the 4-5 star bracket for sure. Since they haven't done anything to piss me off with, here's a fiver for ya. To me this is...a kind of a glam bbq; airconditioned, shirt still smells good, and very clean. Fast efficient service. The quality of the dishes were very good. The beef (470 baht) was so yummy. The buffet deal was awesome too (300 baht each). So many side dishes it got a bit ridiculous. I highly recomend the beef and pork collar. The layers of fatty marble in meat just showed the quality of their produce. So satisfied. I drank the bottom-less iced green tea. Very nice too. (35 baht i think) I think the pricing is fair for the entire package recieved. Comes to about 400-500 per head. Comes as close as you can get to the real deal. The original chef is from Korea and has translated his craft through the food here. I wouldn't take too much notice from the bad reviews, everyone is entitled to an opinion. Just keep in mind, not everyone has good taste.More

So now that my friend is with me a lot more in Chiang Mai, and he's been here a few times before, he's been showing me some of the spots he likes. I don't know if Lum Lum is the best Korean food in Chiang...Mai, I will say that it was very delicious. The restaurant is along the wall in the back opposite the McDonald's. Not hard to find, the sign was right out front and easy enough to locate. Inside we sat at the table near the register, each table has it's own fan for sucking up the fumes from the grill built into the table. The place was very clean and decorated in a traditional style. The server understood when I was talking and was able to easily order off the menu. I ended up getting some meat to grill and my favorite, gimpap, which was made very well and tasted the way that it should. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to be outside the moat and enjoy some great tasting food.More

As a Korean person, I approve this place for one of the best Korean restaurants in Chiang Mai. I've been here 3 times so far and Korean BBQ is top notch with real charcoal and also air conditioning. Most other Korean BBQ places in Chiang...Mai don't have AC and for real Koreans that's a nono since you can't enjoy BBQ in hot weather. Beef quality is pretty good, not the best I've tried but good. Gogi Jip has better Chadolbaki but they have no AC and sidedishes are way better here. Also they accept American Express which is great for me although visa is not accepted. Also they have Chamisul soju which I love. I have tried most Korean places in Chiang Mai as this is my 5th year visiting but Lumlum hang dong location has been the best korean food I've had so far. Highly recommended for Koreans and Americans looking for real Korean food.More

But staffs quite busy to get the orders from us, sometimes they forgot what we...ordered and have to repeat is again and again. By the way we love it. Let try if you are Korean food lovers!!!More

Have tried the Meechok and Hang Dong locations. Prefer this location. Best kimchi for the price, so we order by kilo from here. Friendly staff. Good for BBQ or ordering alacarte.

Nice and clean restaurants. Visited both branches already a few times. The food is very good and fresh. Friendly service and good value for your money. Charcoal barbecues of which they come exchange the baking plate for a clean one every 10 minutes or more...early if its to dirty. Highly recommend.More

Went to the branch at Chill Park opposite Big C HangDong. The atmosphere was nice. We had the pork buffet. The kids had fun grilling their own meat and although it was all pork, the varying marinades gave it variety. The vegie accompaniments were very...nice. Overall a nice meal. Those who can't eat much spicy food may struggle a bit as most of what was served up was quite spicyMore
