We dined at this beautiful destination on Valentines Day and it was a lovely experience. We felt some disappointment with the food and believe the cost outweighs the value.
The restaurant is beautifully appointed and you experience a very comfortable setting with beautiful scenery. The service is impeccable and very helpful. The drive through the tunnel is worth the trip.

Dear Rick, thank you very much for taking your time to write us this amazing review. We are so happy that you could enjoy the Valentines day at Don Manuel's. Normally in the specials events we have at the resort we invite different chef in order to create a different experience including the atmosphere, drinks and the food. We are sorry that you felt some disappointment about the food but please give us the opportunity to change these 4 stars to 5 stars and exceed your expectations. The service is very good and overall atmosphere, with live music nightly, is a fun place to be while staying on property. Overall we were slated to come here twice while staying on property and cancelled the second night as we both felt we would rather order room service. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing but I was not impressed. However, my wife's Vegan Risotto was truly out of this world. Highly recommended!

My wife went to the restaurant for a date night. We enjoyed some of the fantastic cocktails served at the outside bar right next to the restaurant, the view was beautiful. What I noticed from the onset (I am a hotel snob) was the incredible attention to detail in the service we received. After cocktails we enjoyed our three course dinner. The bill was quite pricey but the service exhibited by Ricardo and his colleagues as well as the outstanding food selection was well worth the price. We have to thank the Waldorf Astoria and especially Ricardo and his colleagues for an exquisite dinner experience.

when we went there was a live music (guitar and singer) romantic vibe, DELIVIOUS food! amazing wine. beautiful beautiful beautiful!!! the staff was so friendly and pleasant and polite. the whole experience was lovely! DO IT

Jonathon, the restaurant manager, has trained his staff well. Cutberto , our server, was outstanding and made our special requests happen graciously and easily...a true professional.
Service—fantastic
The restaurant is set next to the pool and ocean. The crashing waves mixed with the nice decor of the restaurant create a relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere.
Ambience—fantastic
We have a group of 8 and ordered a variety of different dishes—all were outstanding. A special shout out for the mashed potatoes—something so basic that it might overlooked by the chef—NOPE....every last bit got scraped up and eaten. The mushroom soup, empanadas, steaks, pasta, sea bass, shrimp and desserts (lava cake-yummy) were all excellent.
Food—fantastic
This restaurant checks all the boxes. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

Don Manuel came highly recommended from a friend and I was definitely not disappointed. While we didn’t make an reservation, the concierge were extremely welcoming and helpful, escorting us around the hotel while we waited for our table. The Waldorf Astoria itself is something to behold, sitting in the other side of the Pedregal and facing the Pacific Ocean. The cocktails and entrees were spectacular, and our waiters Alfredo and Ivan were top notch. I’ll forever dream of the grilled octopus. Will be back the next time I’m in CSL.
Will note, you are paying for a true fine dining experience. If you’re in Cabo on a budget, might want to reconsider!

Whether it is breakfast, lunch, dining or late night music and bar drinks and food, Don Manuel is fantastic. Staff is friendly and service is without peer. Miguel Baraquet takes great pride in his managing Don Manuel and the people are examples of his leadership. Josafat Diaz, Romeo Martinex and Mauricio Alvarez along with many others made our daily trips relaxing, enjoyable and informative about Mexican culture and more importantly Mezcal and Tiquila! Never really a need to leave Pedregal for dining, drinks or laid back late nights.

Me, my wife, and our 11 month old son very much enjoyed our dinner at Don Manuel’s. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and made the dinner fun for our little guy with lots of waves and special attention - special kudos to our waiter Salgado! The food was excellent. We had the crusted sea bass, short rib empanadas, and mashed potatoes with black truffle - none disappointed. I had the Mexican Perfect Martini, also very good. We didn’t have time for dessert because it was the baby’s bedtime, but maybe next time! The restaurant is right on the water with amazing views and there was live music, too, making for a great atmosphere. I would highly recommend for a nice dinner out.

First class all the way. We were greeted upon arrival with friendliness and excitement. Temperatures checked. Time for pictures to remember. Then escorted to the hostess where we were greeted by the lovely Vivian. After being given our choice of indoor or outdoor table, we were seated with a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean. Simply put, our meal was incredible. The service provided by Santos and Juan was the best. Great sense of humor and willingness to make sure our every need was met. The surprise of the evening was the wonderful music provided by "The Song of Mexico". Four gifted musicians and singers. We were allowed to have our dessert and coffee outside and front row to enjoy an evening of wonderful Mexican songs.
Best night on our vacation. We will make Don Manuel's a must stop every trip to Cabo.

I only got to experience breakfast here. While the continental came with our room upgrade, for $9 extra you could actually have anything else. Had amazing cheese omelette with avocado,fresh breads and rolls, fresh croissants
Fresh squeezed oj and grapefruits, and on and on. Lattes had to have two they were so good. Def an experience during your stay at this fabulous hotel- Waldorf Astoria Cabo

An evening at Don Manuel's is a must!
We had such a terrific experience here! The service was wonderful and the dinner was a delight to the senses.
We came on an evening where they showcased a guest chef and we chose to enjoy the grilled octopus, wagyu tartare, lobster salad and the fish entree with the black truffle mashed potatoes.
We had also requested a spicy salsa to accompany our meal and it was a game changer.
We enjoyed the Go Two and the Baja Ricky cocktails, both more delicious than the other! So refreshing and they paired perfectly with our seafood feast.
Cutberto was our server and he took care of us. He came by just enough and never left us for too long. He was also such a sweet human to chat with.
It got a bit chilly and we asked for a blanket which they supplied to us in a timely fashion.
Cutberto topped us off with a strawberry tres leches cake (delicious!!) and white chocolate margarita truffles.
Overall it was an evening and meal we can never forget. We are so thrilled by the experience that we are taking our family back this weekend!

You will want to experience Don Manuel's while staying at the Waldorf Astoria. We enjoyed breakfast there each day and several dinners. The staff was over the top in their service with a special thank you to: Aaron, Ricardo, Carlos, & Cutberto for making our time extra memorable! The food is so good, always new options daily, and they go out of their way to accommodate any special requests or allergies. The atmosphere, scenery, and overall experience is something you could put on a bucket list!

If you haven't been to Don Manuel's yet, make a point to next time you visit Cabo. The property at the Waldorf Astoria at Pedregal is like none other in Cabo, and is the home to two phenomenal restaurants, El Farallon and Don Manuel's.
I make it a point to frequent this place a few times whenever I'm visiting, and this last trip was no different. I ate breakfast there twice, dinner twice, and a few other evening sunset cocktails, and every time was nothing short of excellent. A giant thank you to the staff for allowing me to spend hours at a time relaxing and drinking in the sun, poolside. Lots of beautiful people and atmosphere to soak up here makes your experience an unforgettable one.
Breakfast was absolutely amazing, and dinner even better. Their bartenders are very knowledgeable and the cocktails were crafted to perfection. (Try their spiced anejo tequila old fashioned!) They also have a great selection of top shelf tequilas and mezcals.
This will always be one of my favorite go-to spots for sunny oceanside days in Cabo.

Breakfast with Salvador and Erubiel was excellent, great service everyday. We are Hilton Diamond members and choose to upgrade the free continental for $10 pp to include hot foods, very much worth it. Cannot wait to come back, hopefully Salvador and Erubiel will be here to greet us! The views are excellent and we even saw whales while we ate.

We enjoyed our dining experience from beginning to end. We were impressed with the hostess stand as they asked whether our table had particular allergies. We addressed a gluten allergy and the servers Cutberto and Michel made sure to cater to the allergy. The chefs did a wonderful job with our food and hats off to the gluten free churros. The gluten free churros were better than regular churros. Thank you for the wonderful service and food experience. We look forward to our next visit. Muchos gracias Don Manuel’s crew!
