Les Moustaches is one of the best restaurants in Mexico City. A unique experience with great French cuisine, exquisite ambiance, live piano & violin and superb service. The Wellington Filet was excellent, but the Fish in oyster sauce was even better! It was part of...their fish festival, hopefully they will add it to their regular menu. The excellent piano and violin duet made the night memorable, Miguel, our waiter, did a great job, as well as everyone else in the restaurant.More

Like going to a restaurant in pParis, 88 Rue de Siene, Les Moustaches has a relaxed space preserving the sobriety of a french hall, with gently attention and a great live music (Piano and Violin). The food transport me to France, fresh tasting Scargots and...delicious Duck. Additional a variety of wines and sweet dessert composes a great gourmet experience.More

A TOTAL DISASTER OF A RESTAURANT: For personal reasons, my partner and I were visiting this restaurant to hear the violinist play. We made a booking and sent the restaurant a message on Facebook to confirm the violinist would be there. The reply we received...was slightly unclear, so we sent another message on Facebook, to confirm the violinist would be there. We did not receive a reply. We then sent a message directly using their email address to ask if we should make a booking for another day. No reply. We then sent another message, asking for them to reply or we would have to telephone to ask if the violinst would be there. No reply again. My partner then telephoned them on the day of the booking - today - to make sure the violinist would be there. She was told he would be. We then travelled thirty minutes to the restaurant, and upon arriving, asked if the violinist would be there. We were told he would start playing at 8.30pm, and we had arrived at 8pm. We took our seats... and five minutes later the waiter returned to say the violinist was on holiday that day. We left immediately. What an ABSOLUTE DISASTER. TOTAL INCOMPETENCE. They completely wasted our time and their money due to their appalling communication, their dishonesty or simply incompetence. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT AT ALL.More

Very disappointing experience. 30 years ago this was a superb restaurant, and with those expectations we returned to find a most disturbing disappointment. We weren’t even seated when waiter VICTOR was as hovering over us with menus. My wife asked for wine menu and he...returned with a bottle of Merlot and gave her a taste. OKAY,,, so she asked for the price (as she’d read that a TripAdvisor comment referenced a price rip-off) but he poured her a glass. Somewhat stunned Victor returned with a wine list and showed price. Okay, it was decent for the wine presented. But why not present the list when asked. Victor now hovered over us as we were looking over the menu (like a fly on poop). We ordered appetizers and a main course each. Appetizers were delivered before we had 2 sips of our wine. I stated “No tango presa” (we are not in a hurry”). With Victor on our shoulder we felt hurried. Barely put our fork down or he scooped up our dirty plate. I finished my appetizer and he instantly delivered a sherbet while my wife (a slow eater) was ½ way through her appetizer. Main courses were delivered before my wife finished her appetizer. We thought McDonald’s don’t serve food that quickly. Our anniversary dinner was completed within 1 ½hrs. The crepes suzette were prepared before us and were decent. Also the live piano and violin made for a nice ambience. But the most DISAPPOINTING dining we’ve ever experienced.More
