A real genuine Jamaican place. Spicy shrimp to die for. Friendly and warm service. Local dishes. Wish I had a place like that near my house!

The food here is delicious! The setting is simple but tactful. very comfortable. If you need a a quick meal that's not fast food, this is the perfect place to eat! Good location and easy parking.

MVP is located in a quaint location. Very laid back environment. All seating can be considered outdoors, but you're fully covered and protected. We met the owner on both occasions and he made a point of stopping by to chat with us. The staff is...More

I've visited MVP on many occasions and every single time the food is soooo good. Their curried shrimp is superb and not to mention their curried goat and soups. You gotta try them! Only issue is serving size of fries...it's like a kids portion. Keep...More

A few buddies and I decided to check this unassuming spot just minutes from Fairview Center. What a treat!! The setting is simple, real Jamaican reggae and the friendliest staff imaginable. We had a parrot fish that our waitress Sandra suggested. The sauce was escovich,...More

Rarely busy (which can be nice) with quite an extensive local menu - mostly jerk. Good value and better than many local restaurants around - worth a try.

Had their sweet potato taco, shrimp in creamy sauce, cheese/chocolate cake with white wine and everything was absolutely delicious but far from filling as the portions were so tiny. Staff is great and so is the location.

MVP has a extensive menu to suite all pallets. There service was excellent however the chicken lacked the taste and spice of jerk. The pork was a little dry but taste good. The soup was bland.

This is our new favourite in Mobay. The chicken salad is a full meal, very filling. Had red snapper one evening, AMAZING!!! We fed a baby on the rice and peas and soup, so it isn't overly hot with pepper. There are fresh juices and...More

Premium beverages probably refers to Scotch, Whisky and other top shelf liquor. Standard is probably red/white rum, red stripe beer and other local liquors. Hope this helps!
