The food is amazing and the ambiance is great. Sunset is the best time to go there. Food was 150 for 4 people and well worth it. It is on the water and you have to take a 2 second ferry to get to restaurant.

I am so disappointed imagine a $21000 bill with food that was only $18000, $5000 add in GCT and service charge and the most disgruntled thing is that the pasta was not good at all my stomach got upset I had to put everything in...a take out box and empty it into the garbage immediately. I was not pleased at all.More
We attended as family of 8 for my birthday. The food was beautiful. Lovely location and friendly staff. The only downside was the wait. However I cannot wait to return as the food was so good.
The ambiance was fine , The food was no good I definitely wouldn’t recommend 2/10,Very expensive and just didn’t worth it. It was my birthday and I am still disappointed.
Food was great. Unusual preparation of common ingredients. I would not duggext to order drinks there, if you must have a drink, order wine, which was not the best. Service was decent. Eviroment intere6and friendly.
We had the best meals here while on holiday in Jamaica. The food was fantastic.. The staff were all very friendly and polite. They couldn’t do more for us. I would recommend you go 😀
The food was really good, the service was extremely poor. We waited 2 hours for our food after ordering with no accommodations or valid reasoning aside from “It’s fresh” and we were charged a gratuity after complaining
The Houseboat Is a unique dining experience by its on the water location alone. The food was good but the service was very slow and the servers did not have pleasant personalities at all. Food is also pricey. Definitely expected a better over all experience....May or may not return. It was my birthday so we made the best of it. No birthday recognition at all from restaurant.More
Really amazing experience that is a must if you're around Mobay area. It's a little gem and it's actually a houseboat you have to take a small ferry to get to. The ferry is all included. To my knowledge this is NOT a physically accessible...place - from the ferry to the restaurant and bathroom. Husband and I went for our wedding anniversary and shared the smoked Marlin dip (YUMMY 🤤). We also ordered a couple cocktails, the lemon garlic shrimp dish and lobster pasta. Y'all, the lobster pasta will feed four people and omg it's so good (my dish). Oh, and we had the banana cake with cream for dessert and I'm not normally a dessert person but I could've eaten the whole thing myself. They take major credit cards (visa for sure). Like most places in Jamaica, this is an experience and one that's a bit slower paced so slow down, enjoy the view and your company. Bring bug spray!!!More
We had an amazing meal here. It he seafood was wonderful. The staff & service was excellent & it was a real highlight of our visit to Jamaica. Would strongly recommend
Special dinner for daughter in-law birthday with family. We have been in Montego Bay for a few days and heard of the House Boat Grill. The drive from Rose Hall was about 30 minutes and it was worth each and every one. We approached the...ferry landing expecting a longer ride and found it to be seconds not minutes to cross over to the restaurant. The interior table for 5 was comfortable and a room of rustic romance. Big windows with fantastic evening views as the sun disappeared over the mountain and the city lights came alive. Our server greeted us with a warm smile, we got the specials and ordered drinks while cruising the menu. Too many choices so we will have to comeback before we leave the island. The table of five shared, calamari, octopus, shrimp and smoked marlin spread. All were outstanding but the smoked marlin is to die for. Ordered entrees and the results were a series of shared dishes as well. Snapper was my favorite but all patrons were bragging on their dish. Lava cake and ice cream for desert and we were on our way. The service was exceptional and complimented the outstanding cuisine. If you come visit this paradise, don't miss House Boat Grill!More
If you have one place to dine in your budget, this is the place! Amazing seafood! I had the snapper , my husband had the salmon, we didn't have reservations so we sat at the bar which was still amazing! The grilled calamari was excellent....So wonderful and great experience. I would try to get there right before sunset for amazing views. The staff work hard so dont forget to tip with paying with an American debit card!More
Amazing place! Romantic even with a 3 year old with us. The staff are very friendly and on top of their game and the food is outstanding! Seriously, I read the menu but, I still felt like it was a surprise when it hit the...table. My wife had a very simple pasta dish that was absolutely incredible and I had the snapper which was as good as it gets. We also had the short rib taco appetizer which was unique and delicious. The only thing we didn't love was the warm chocolate cake as we were expecting more like a molten lava type of thing which it was not. However, that was just our personal preference. readers of this review may absolutely love it. Anyhow, out of all of the meals we had in Montego Bay this was by far the best.More
My partner and I went to the Houseboat Grill on Sunday for dinner, and our weekly date night. What a lovely evening we had. On arrival you take a little boat like raft over to the main boat where you will eat your meal, this...takes seconds. The food takes about twenty five minutes to get to the table but you are advsied about the wait time. The food was lovely we had the baked fish and the surf and turf and warm bananna cake for pudding. It is a delightful view we were seated outside the boat. The wait staff are very pleasant and very accommodating. Please be aware you may be bitten by the mosquito's they ate me alive but the staff have a repellant spray at hand. This is a lovely place to have dinner with beautiful views, we would definitely eat here again.More
Visited the houseboat grill with my partner & when I’m telling you from once we’ve arrived we were greeted by the ferry service personnel who accompanied us unto the boat. We were then seated by a hostess which was very polite of her. Melissha our...server & Mario our bartender are very pleasant, understandable, even though melissha is NEW she has great customer service. She checked on us throughout the entire evening to ensure that we were great. On the other hand, Mario our bartender, serve us our drinks which was well mix & prepared. The food was awesome & you could taste the love in it. It was my partner’s birthday & they came out singing happy birthday along with a well plated candled lava cake. We then asked to speak with the manager (Olivia) to express our gratitude & satisfaction we experienced. She’s a good listener & pleasant individual, it was very nice meeting her. We loved this place & 100% recommend it. From the view down to the service is immaculate, will definitely return.More
