We had such a fantastic dinner here over MLK weekend. We only found the restaurant by looking online on tripadvisor, and my boyfriend booked it for us. It is a really beautiful restaurant on the inside, and very romantic, we ate lots of seafood dishes,...the octopus was absolutely the best. I cannot recommend it more!More

Had dinner here on a Saturday night while staying at nearby Four Points Sheraton. Great wine list, yummy entrées, and loved the clientele from across the Americas. Sadly one of the only meals we had outside during our week in Dominican Republic. Would swing by...again! Dinner for two with two glasses of wine each was 80CAD all in.More

I chose this place based on its TripAdvisor reviews (highest rated in the Punta Cana Village area), and definitely lived up to its reviews. The staff was so professional and respectful even when we had a crying baby. We made a reservation for 7 and...the big table indoors was so perfect for our meal, and everyone's order was delicious. Absolutely no complaints about the food, and the prices were very reasonable. It's definitely the best restaurant in the area.More

We started with the Edamame then had the sushi roll with the banana in it because it was different. Both were very tasty. After that, medium rare Certified Angus Beef to share (20 oz came out more like medium rare which is what we wanted)....Then the browny dessert. Decadent! Thanks to Ramón for the great service! We stayed at the four points Sheraton across the street and decided to give la cava a try. It was only a 2 min walk and we weren't disappoint. Great food and service.

We spent a week at the Westin Punta Cana Resort & Club and made a dinner reservation at La Cava to celebrate my birthday. We sat inside in a very comfortable booth. We had an excellent waiter, Ramon. We started with a Parmigiano cheese, prosciutto,...arugula, and tomato confit flatbread. It was excellent. I ordered the tagliatelle with cream, prosciutto, and white truffle oil. This is the only restaurant where I have ever been asked how I wanted my pasta cooked - impressive! I chose al dente, and it was one of the best pasta dishes I've ever eaten (better than some of the pasta I had in Rome a few months prior). Seriously, I would eat that over and over if given the opportunity. The other main dishes ordered by my husband and son were the Risotto Porcini and Penne Rustica - shrimp, porcini, emmental cheese, and truffle cream. Both excellent as well. For dessert we had the Brownie Chocolate Mousse - a brownie with ice cream and orange caramelized almonds - divine! and cappucinos. I had mentioned to Ramon that it was my birthday, and the wait staff brought out a giant sparkler and sang happy birthday to me. By far, the best meal of our entire trip. The wait staff were all very attentive, observing the patrons to see if anything was needed. At the end of the meal one of the staff came around to ask how our dinner experience was. Excellent, five star quality, well worth a visit or two!More

Good restaurant very convenient to Punta Cana village. Went once just two of us and food was good enough to go back with a big group. Quinoa salad was really good as was churrasco. Son had flatbread which he really enjoyed as well. If you’re...staying there absolutely worth the walk.More
