It’s a very intimate restaurant with great food to eat calmly. The food quality is excellent. Nice atmosphere.

This is a very nice and cozy place where your family can relax while enjoying an all authentic katsu experience. The people are so nice. The food is one of a kind. No regrets coming all the way from PH to try their food. Kampai!
Unfortunately encountered one of the worst customer experiences in my 2 trips to japan. Waiter was extremely rude and almost unwilling to help. We have came twice before on our previous trip and wanted to come back due to our previous good experience. However, waiter...was extremely rude and seemed like he hated in his life via his facial expression. One of the experiences is making a sauce for the katsu - I repeatedly asked the waiter for direction to which he kept replying “yes” in a nonchalant manner. I was simply asking the waiter if I was using the right sauce, he kept ignoring what I was saying and was just saying “yes” at anything. It just became ridiculous and infuriated us as we had been polite and just wanted confirmation. Won’t come back again as we don’t want the chance to run into this guy. As for the food: it’s great, quality over quantity but extremely expensive for what it is. Also keep in mind the restaurant offers 1x free drink for a positive review on TripAdvisorMore
Had the Wagu beef cutlet meal, if was excellent as were all the accompaniments. Hot stone for more cooking as it was rare, my preference but also cooked some Only minor down side was there was little emotion from the staff, only minor but stops...me give 5/5More
Great location. Highly recommend. My partner and I ordered a pork cutlet and kimukatsu meal sets to share, it was delicious! Came with cabbage salad, rice and miso soup.
After reading the reviews I was excited to go here. The location however is a bit off putting, moving from the busy streets to a basement with a few people had me hesitating. However, the Katsu itself was delicious. We had the fillet meal and...the Kimukatsu and both were delicious. Plenty of sauces to mix up and choose from and rice, cabbage, miso and pickled vegetables on repeat. Great dinner. Would come again. Only negative was the lack of warmth from the staff. Helpful and due diligent but not warm and welcoming like many other restaurants I have experienced in Japan. Would definitely come back though.More
It's so famous kitchen in Osaka. There are 25 floors in a pork cutlet. On top of that, Service is so outstanding :)
Good quality and good service~ If you come to Osaka, I recommend you visit here. I want to visit this again.
Good service and a lovely little place with a traditional Japanese atmosphere. Price not too expensive either.
Saw the review on TripAdvisor so gave it a go but when we reached there, there were no crowd and we understood why there were so many good reviews. Because for a Tripadvisor review, some free ice cream/dessert would be given! But we are reviewing...here not because of the free dessert as I’m already back in my home country. I must say the kimukatsu (layered pork) was tender and juicy. I ordered kimukatsu and shrimps and the prawns were fresh unlike those in my home country. The tofu was nice too! You have to do your own sesame sauce too. Quite interesting. They serve free flow of rice so if you like jap rice, it will fill you up. Give it a go if you are at Dotonbori. Local stills visits this place as we have about 3-4 tables of locals having their dinner when we reach.More
