The store is very whimsical in nature, especially as they have Christmas decorations, including singing deer sculptures. There is such a wide range of cookies and cakes available to taste and buy that it can be bewildering. They have lots of young female staff at...every counter, but they are not very used to conversing in English, unfortunately. We loved most of the cookies and cakes that we bought, including macadamia. The rosemary one was a tad too dry, though. We wanted to buy their cake rolls as well, but were told these could not be kept too long and had to be eaten within the day. Once you have bought your cakes and cookies, go next door for some ice cream, with some delectable flavours including lychee.More

Hot Day Treat

Taiwan can get a bit warm some days, and although ice cream is easily accessible anywhere in the city, this is by far the best tasting dessert i've had. There's a free topping for every order, and a lot of flavors to choose from as...well. As to the naturality of flavors, I am not sure of.More

A bit like Harry Potter’s Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

This used to be a dentist but has since converted into a confectionary as well as an ice cream shop. Housed in two separate sections, we got a little confused with we came in through the confectionary side and couldn’t find the ice cream shop....Definitely worth lots oh photos here.More

Fantastic ice cream and chocolate shop!

Big ice cream shop with various kinds of ice cream. The more scoops, the cheaper. Waffle and additional topping cost a few dollars more. The shop also has the section of chocolate and tea with Harry Potter style decoration. One of a must-visit place in...Taichung!More

Must Visit when in Taichung

This visit happened in May 2019. Place came highly recommended by friends. The store consists of an ice cream parlour and a 'Harry Potter' feel store which sold Tea and Pastries. Great for photo-taking or just soak up in the magical vibes. Tea tasting are...available in-store and their tea are sold in unique Vinyl Record Packaging. While for the Ice Cream Parlour, there are more than 40 flavours to choose from which made it hard to make a decision!More

Very popular among the younger set

We took a walk around this place. It was a landmark and centrally located. Walking distance from our hotel and also to the train station. Quite a queue of youngsters getting their ice cream. Inside the shop, they sell many items and tidbits, obviously targeted...at tourists. We didn't find the prices very good value, so we just browsed around. However, this place is popular with tourists.More

Iconic place

Ordered 3 scoops of chocolate ice creams it was great you can choose different toppings. Do expect a big of line up though but it's worth it!

Great Ice Cream!

The long lines seems daunting but moves pretty fast. They have a great selection of ice cream flavors worth waiting for and also very instagram worthy. They also have about 18 flavors of chocolate ice cream, so as a chocolate addict this is a win....The store they have next to the ice cream store mostly sales souvenirs so nothing spectacular. Just another instagram spot worth being at for 10 seconds.More

Signature ice-cream

Most Famous Icecream In Taichung

I recommend this shop because it has sell many types of flavoured icecream and yogurt icecream. Miyahara Ice Cream is easily recognize because this shop is often long queue by the customers.You can also add additional ingredients such as pineapple crisp,dragon and phoenix cake and...black sesame peanut candy on top of the icecream.The building of Miyahara Ice Cream also very beautiful and attractive.More

IG craze...

You can easily spot this place during noon by the long queues throng by youngsters. Price is reasonable if you get the three scoops and comes with array of toppings and another three choices of additional toppings.

Harry Potter style

This is easily the best place to visit in taichung. It has a feeling as if you are in a Harry Potter place with all the magical instruments and food place.
