Located a little out of town, this restaurant is a must-do for visitors to Bishkek and popular with locals too. It is a complex of various buildings with some areas very new, a well stocked shop and lovely interior. The menu has a wide range...of items and allows you to try a wide range of local dishes, but also has some international dishes too. Main courses take around 45 mins as they are made fresh, so heat order a samovar and take your time. There are a number of dishes and larger platters that either need preordering or take two hours. So if you fancy plov for instance, order ahead. Nice to explore a bit and see some traditional decor, construction and as eagle or two.More

The food was exceptional. I highly recommend the mix grill, borsok, fried cauliflower, mix berry drink and chocolate fondant. There is a play area to keep little ones entertained.

The place is pretty close to Bishkek. It's quite touristy but has a lot of charm and traditional elements which I loved. The dinner in the yurts was very good.

Supara has a very cool ethnic decor with unique buildings and dining arrangements, but that's where it ends. Customer service is hit and miss. They often don't have menu items and I've had undercooked chicken that they refused to take back to the kitchen and...recook. They bring the dishes out in random order and forget to even bring some dishes out. The food is expensive by Kyrgyz standards and the rooms are always cold in the fall, winter and spring. For the money you pay, you should get more. Everyone should go at least once to Supara, but once is enough.More

What a lovely restaurant, good food and service and atmosphere. This delightful though somewhat contrived 'ethno' complex is a rapid-fire presentation of all things traditionally Kyrgyz, attracting mainly well-heeled urban locals. Costumed waiters serve a full range of authentic and original Kyrgyz meals. Also they...provide tour guide to look around of Supara . There are also history museum fee price only 100 som. Especially Thank you for Mr . Yryskeldi excellent service. Definitely we will come back. 🇰🇬💞More

Whether you want to try local Kyrgyzstan cuisine, get a good class of kyrgz sour milk, or even European food (pizza, salads, soup, burgers etc) this is a marvellous place to come The tables are in 'Uirtas' and the severs are in traditional outfits It...gives you that traditional feel (a bit like 'medevil times' in America but with out the fake/cheesey/over the top performance You can explore and gave a look round the site and get some good photos, or be submerged in what was part of Kyrgyzstans history Vegetarian options aswell, however if you are a meat eater you will thrive here with all the choices! Definitely worth going out of your way to visit and see!More

Supara is a complete experience. The food is fantastic, the facilities are beautiful and comfortable and the staff will go the extra mile to make your stay a wonderful one. For me the absolute best of all that summed up is the beautiful, detailed focused...and respectful way in which you can experience here tradition, and as a foreigner get a bit closer to traditional music, food and dress. I recommend this to everyone!More

I have been to restaurants in probably 50 countries, and Supara is the coolest eva. The food is incredible, and the experience is extraordinary. Three of us had our own converted-to-permanent Yurt, and ate for hours, with two waiters stoking the fire, pouring wine, and...serving incredible dish after incredible dish. And I ate the takeout for the next two days. I read a review that said the food takes a long time to arrive. Dude, if you want fast food go to Nandos. If you want an insanely great culinary and cultural experience, go to Supara.More
