What a treat this is, fantastic little restaurant sat in the beautiful Val Di Funes. We had the 4 course tasting menu and it did not disappoint. Every dish was delicious and chef came out to explain what each dish was and where the produce had come from. This and accompanied by the local red wine Lagrien as recommended by the hostess, made for an unforgettable evening. The service was brilliant throughout and when they were made aware it was my birthday I was given the local ‘hay’ schnapps and even a four leaf clover! Great food, great service.

Very special dinner with local dishes. Loved the innovative recipes including the dessert of apple that came from the chef’s tree just beside the restaurant. Great service from the staff and Chef Oskar was kind and welcoming to introduce the dishes to us personally. A must-try in South Tyrol!

This restaurant is the quintessence of good food in South Tyrol: local products are mixed in magic and unbelievable ways. The set menu is highly recommended: the “cappuccino” dish and the lamb are superb. Highly recommended!

By far the best restaurant around the Dolomites. Nice and cozy place. The staff is very kind. The dishes are delicate and well made with local ingredients. The chef presents his dishes to the clients in a nice way. We had two wonderful evenings there!

We visited the Dolomites for the first time, and our last evening we were treated to an excellent meal at Pitzock. Our party of 4 all enjoyed different entrees, with extremely fresh ingredients and good taste. Loved that the chef came out to explain our entrees and the origin of each meal. The service was outstanding- and we were amazed at the desserts- don't skip them! They even offered us an aperitif after we paid. We would love to come back!

Stopped in here for lunch and had a wonderful time. The staff were super lovely and spoke really good english. We ate the lamb with noodles which is in my top 3 best dishes i have had so far in my 6 weeks of travelling Italy. The cook delivered the dish and gave us a good little back story about the local sheep production here. 10/10 would recommend this place. What a gem. Grazié

We were a party of 6 and most had the specialty and local dish of spectacled lamb. Wonderful meals and proudly presented by the chef.

Delicious food and interesting recipes, well explained by the chef himself - focus on local ingredients produced by local farmers, purpose-driven with brands like „slow food“, onwards!

This restaurant was one of the best dinners we ever had. From the polite and courteous waitress who took our order to the owner/chef who not only brought the food to our table he told us in detail what farm the food came from. Pitzock in the Funes region of Italy has set a high standard for what the neighborhood restaurant can be, with incredible lamb dishes and fish so flavorful I found myself eating much more slowly than usual to appreciate every bite. The commitment to their relationships with local farmers, the well-curated wine and beer list and the deserts to die for makes this the best dining experience in two weeks of touring Italy.

When you enter you would not imagine that the food will be so perfect. The cook and owner explains you all and for lamb-meat-fans it is a mekka. The furniture and the sorrounding could be a little better for such a kind of restaurant. But it remains a very good resturant!!

If a local would not have booked it for our group I probably would neither have found nor gone. Had a 4 course dinner - slow flood philosophy which I highly admire. So you get your rare ingredients and excellent food and wine. Both Ingrid and Oskar and their team are doing a fantastic job. menu is centered around locally sourced and high-quality food as well as the local Brillenschaf (lamb). I highly recommend especially for tourists who don't have the pleasure to live in the area all year round.

This is our annual pilgrimage, and while it's always good, this last meal was spectacular. Let Ingrid (sommelier) pick the wines for you - her knowledge of local and further afield varietals and vintners will make your taste buds happy. The homemade grissini, breads and herb butters are an excellent way to start the meal. Don't miss the Steinpilz (porcini) Cappuccino. All 5 of our entrees was magnificent. We were so full we couldn't order the dessert platter, but in years past, that's also worth the calories. Bravo, Oskar, Ingrid and team!
