One of several Bodegas that have superb restaurants as part of their tour offerings. There is nothing on the rustic or boutique side for this Restaurant.. they are tops in their excellent menu selection and you can even view the dry beef display, their large selection of table choices, if Spanish is a problem for you not to worry many are bilingual, wine selection...well now here the light shines. Need a non meat meal..no problem, though I thought the chef struggled with the grilled pumpkin..who would not. Taxi from city to here was $500 Arg..about $10 or less. Truly so close to city this is a must for your bucket list.

This is my fifth time visiting Mendoza and how did I miss this place? What a phenomenal experience we had at Abrasado. Let me me start with our server Rodrigo I know there were a few comment that mentioned none of the servers spoke English. While my Spanish is enough to stumble by, he was fluent in English and beyond helpful and just made us feel so comfortable. I would say the Som Daniel was very similar and the wine prices were affordable and not elevated. The food and experience lived up to all of the recommendations especially the dry aged beef. No matter if you’re traveling to Mendoza from North America Or south this is worth a try.

3 years ago, I posted a quite critical article. Today, I have to admit: Abrasado is the best meat restaurant in Mendoza. It is slightly pricier than its competitors, but it's definitely worth it! The beef seakt tartare is probably the best I ever had in my entire life - especially t the mustard ice cream is unique!! Abrasado offers a nice range of entries, very recommended. The dried aged beef is unique in Mendoza. I have tried several cuts and they were prepared to my expectation. Their white wines are fantastic, the reds are fine, but you may bring your own for corkage. Highly recommended!!!

We went today to have lunch at 1:00 PM. Prior to that we asked when we made the reservation that we needed to leave the place to catch a plane to Buenos Aires at 2:45 PM and we were told that we would have plenty of time for that. We arrived as scheduled and ordered, the entrees came soon enough, but it took more than an hour to get the overcooked spaghetti for one of our toddlers. He didn't touch it and refused to eat it. The main course we ordered for everyone was in most cases ordinary and I found the Angus cut full with fat and not too tasty. We had to leave the place in a rush while chewing the last bites of the food which was not so extraordinary as expected in a restaurant with such expensive prices. Food that came too late with no apology, and hey, quick note eager customers. prepare yourself to wait in line for the toilet. There is only one there and the waiting can become quite long. Extremely disappointed, and I will certainly not come back.

So, this restaurant has a nice, modern atmosphere and is located in a lovely bodega. The food is also very good. The wine selection is incredible. However, I must say that, for the price, the service was not up to par. The best wine we tried (the Mosquita Muerta Negra) was only given to our table because they forgot to bring something we requested (and offered the wine as a way to apologize). They messed up one of our orders by bringing the wrong side. The dessert and dessert wine, which should have come together, came about 15-20 minutes apart. The sommelier didn’t even bring the dessert wine; a random waitress had to bring it because he was so busy selling wines (we could see him). Each request came about 5-10 minutes after asking, which is not ideal for a supposedly high end place. They had to confirm our coffee order 5-10 minutes after taking it. We had to ask for silverware between courses instead of them resetting the table each time. I don’t mean to sound difficult because we enjoyed the food and wine (and I’m not one to be overly critical), but compared to other places we’ve been in the city (like Mallman’s restaurant 1884 Restaurant), the service just failed to meet a high standard. It’s worth a visit, but I hope that you have better service than we did.

We booked an English speaking wine tour but when we finally started the tour, the tour guide said it would be in Spanish. We then had lunch and were seated on the worst table in the corner right by the entrance which was cold and had a heavy footfall. We were the only couple in the restaurant at the time and asked if we could change table. The manager refused for no apparent reason. The food itself was disappointing given the high rating of the restaurant. We have eaten at several restaurants in Mendoza with a higher quality of food and service. We would not return or recommend based on our personal experience. We would however like to praise our waiter, Patsy, who was very attentive, kind and respectful.

First, the food, which was very good - when it finally arrived. This is a carnivore's paradise. The portions are huge and exemplify the Argentine culinary philosophy of "would you like some meat with your meat". Unless you have an absolutely enormous appetite, forgo the appetizers and bread. Sharing a steak and one or two sides might be a good idea for moderate eaters. My one and only, but significant complaint is the time it took over for our dinners to arrive - over an hour from when we ordered. By the time it did come we were almost too hungry and tired to eat. To be fair, there was a private event with 60 or 70 diners going on at the same time. Our waiter was apologetic and management solicitous, but if you're going to host large events, and run a restaurant you need to be able to provide the service. Other than that, the service and atmosphere of the old winery was very nice. As compensation for the delay they did give us more meat - two enormous tomahawk steaks which we took home to our AirBnB. At least we have dinner for tonight.

Worst experience we've ever had in our lives, we were a table with 5 people, where we arrived, we ordered two starters, a wine, a drink and the waiter since we arrived kept talking about what the main thing would be. We were still deciding. (We arrived at 7:30 pm and they told us that the reservation would be until 9:30 pm, we thought it was bad to be “timed” for eating and drinking but it was ok, we agreed) when it was 8:30 pm we called to order the main dishes, and the waiter Said he couldn't ask for more. Since AT NO point we were notified of a maximum time to place orders, we didn't know that 8:30 pm could no longer be done. And until now we don't know if you had to order as soon as you sat down. We called the manager and he did nothing. He listened and brought the bill. We were embarrassed, totally incredulous, because on top of everything else, the restaurant was EMPTY, and without any queue. We believe this was all due to racism. What they did to us makes no sense, what a humiliation.

This is an overpriced tourist trap. I do not understand how it has received such positive reviews and accolades. We had a terrible experience here in June 2024. Rude wait staff, unimpressive food, difficult to book even though the restaurant turned out to be empty. For the most part, the food simply isn't good or worth the price. However we did have a specific negative experience - my mother, who is immunocompromised and cannot eat raw meat, ordered her steak medium well and it was served raw. When we asked for this to be corrected, the wait staff seemed annoyed and then brought back a steak that was extremely over done. Save your money and eat somewhere in town instead.

Very pleasant dinner. The house breads, served with olive oil and vinegar (presented in a very neat service) are delicious. The starter was a pair of Arabic pâtés with Arabic bread and crunchy chickpeas - it was spectacular. Tip: if you want the meat medium rare, ask for it almost well done. We ordered medium rare and it came very rare, which wasn't a problem, but some people might not like it. The atmosphere is very beautiful, sophisticated and cozy. Important: Google Maps GPS took us to the back street. The parking entrance is on Av. de Acceso Este. We spent around 70,000 pesos without wine, which at the exchange rate at the time was around 500 reais. I don't think it's unmissable, but it's an interesting option to try aged meats - which in Brazil cost more than that.

Very good experience, we were very well attended to at the entrance. They asked about preferences and if there was any food we didn't like or if we had any food intolerances. We were served by Tamara and she was very friendly and attentive. Dinner is very well served and has a good price compared to restaurants in the same category. We went with the house's recommendation and ate a T-bone with black garlic sauce, which was excellent and a sufficient portion for the couple. The coffee at the end was accompanied by a plate of selected sweets. The wine list has prices for all budgets. The atmosphere is very cozy and stands out. We highly recommend it! The value for money is very good and the experience is very pleasant. Despite being located inside a winery, it is very close by Uber to the city center. About 15 minutes.

The food was very very good. We ordered the three-course anniversary menu with the most traditional things from the winery they told us. The place is divine and the people are very friendly. Gonzalo and Luciana are super attentive and good vibes. We highly recommend. With a discount for Argentines, which is a nice gesture where the majority are foreigners

This place is amazingggg! Not only is the entire experience something you should look forward to, but the food is simply incredible! We got the best recommendation from our server, Luciano, to have the 100th anniversary menu, and we were not disappointed! Three courses, each course paired with a different wine, was exceptional value for money. Also, the starter which was an empenada made with Ribeye, was easily the best empenada we have ever had! The wine pairings perfectly complimented each course. We also have to mention that they have amazing olive oil and balsamic vinegar which we were able to taste with our gastronomical experience. Highly recommended!

We visited with a tasting and then had dinner at Abrasado, we had a reservation for 10:30 pm, the only time available when we booked. As our tasting would end early, I asked if we could have dinner beforehand, which we did. We entered the restaurant at 9:30 pm and the number of empty tables caught our attention, that is, we were only offered dinner at 10:30 pm but the reservation could have been earlier, and we almost gave up trying Abrasado because we thought the reservation time was too late. About the restaurant atmosphere: beautiful. One of the most beautiful in Mendoza. We were served by Ricardo, who was very kind. We decided on the a la carte menu, which seemed more appropriate because it was late. For starters I ordered a carpaccio (I shared it!) and my husband had an empanada (good, according to him). For dinner, we chose an aged T-Bone, fried porridge and arugula salad. The entire dinner was very good. To go with it, we opted for wine and sparkling wine by the glass, as everyone wanted different drinks. The bill came to around 100 dollars, which I thought was fair for the restaurant's standard.

The environment is wonderful, very intimate. All the waiters are very friendly and the service is excellent – a thank you to Macarena, who served us so well and with so much sympathy and attention. But the main thing: the food is PERFECT. We ordered the Burned Menu (with 6 steps) for each and we couldn't even finish the main dish of so full we were! But we don't regret it. All dishes came perfect, delicious, at the point. Not to mention the harmonizations that were a separate show. The sommelier explained to us thoroughly each wine and why it would fit the dish we were going to eat. It was the best restaurant of the trip (Buenos Aires, Mendoza and Bariloche) – and the best of the Michelin Guide. I highly recommend!!!
