Excellent experience, delicious food!
My partner and I enjoyed a memorable and romantic dinner.
Food was thoughtfully prepared using local ingredients. The couple who are proprietors keep the menu small to keep the quality high, which it definitely is.
The menu is structured for either a la carte or multi-course dinners, with a small discount for multi-course selections, which is convenient.
The lasagna with wild mushrooms was delicious, as was the tart tatin paired brilliantly with walnut ice cream!
I look forward to my next meal at this special restaurant!

My husband and I have been traveling in Italy for a week, Milan and Lake Como! This meal was by far the best we have had to date. Service was fast, the atmosphere was lovely and the food flavorful!

If you go there and like steaks, definitely try the rib eye. Fantastic.
Local cuisine is excellent. Marinated beef with grey cheese was an excellent appetizer.
Tiramisu is the must-have dessert. Never had a better one.

We visited this restaurant for lunch when we arrived in Suisi but were waiting to check into our hotel. We arrived at the end of their lunch hours and everyone was very kind and welcoming! We had homemade pasta with Bianca sauce, spinach dumplings with oil and cheese, and the potato leek soup. Every dish was fantastic! Highly recommend visiting this restaurant for lunch or dinner!

Stopped at restaurant Sassegg for dinner and since was our first evening in Alpe dì Siusi we were looking forward for a traditional restaurant and dinner.
There is a variety of menu items, service was fair so if it happens to pass by it may be worth a visit.
The downside is that the dining room is poorly designed.

One of the best meals we've had while traveling in the Dolomites. Friendly service, located near center of town. Between the two of us we had mixed salad w/Camembert, tomato soup w/burrata, pasta carbonara, spinach & cheese dumplings, and panna cotta. All of it delicious!

We had a couple of very good meals here over the busy August holiday period. Firstly on tbe yerrace which is pretty relaxed and next time inside as ot was raining which was cosy. The food was excellent on both occasions with very tasty home made pasta with funggi and dear ragu, interesting mixed salad, meat dishes and tira misu. Portions are quite generous. Service very friendly and efficient.

I had dinner in this restaurant 4 times in the last 6 months. The food is very good and the service is simply great. I especially appreciated meat. The location is also stylish and refined. I recommend it. So why only 3 stars? The reason is that there is room to improve.
First of all quantity: too much in a single dish, which is not a good thing for a refined restaurant because, by the end, the taste has gone and you get "bored". I had home made spatzle with speck and saffron. The taste was very balanced but they were too many. Half the size would have been great.
Second point: dish appearance. In such a restaurant I expect dishes to look great as the stylish fourniture. The above mentioned spatzle looked more like a soup, very liquid, honestly, not very appealing. Which is a shame since, as I said above, they tasted great.
I hope this review will be helpful to the owner. This is a kind of restaurant that is missing in Siusi, the others are more "local" style, this one is more trendy. Keep pushing, excellence is not so far away but devil is in the details.

We pulled into town late Christmas Eve not expecting to find much. This was the only restaurant open. We were pleasantly surprised. We had great service and all our choices were excellent and the bill was very reasonable. This ended up being the highlight of our week visit, and we tried several higher TripAdviser rated restaurants. We will back.
