where do I start from!!! An enormous site, starts by parking under a lighthouse like a small Eiffel tower, walk in a tunnel with 2 streams of water on each side and sit on a table by the sea, almost the exact definition of "pieds...dans l'eau". The plates presentation was really nice and the taste was even better. it was my 1st time eating raw fish in a lebanese restaurant but what i loved most was taboulet al bahar yummmmm :)More

I just had my first Babel Bahr experience today and it left an amazing lasting impression. The food was wonderful and plentiful, without hitting the wallet too hard. I highly recommend the fish schwarma.

Not the Babel quality it used to be a couple years ago, there was a lack in the fresh fish selection. Their famous Ghazaleh came lose and not cold maybe due to lack of electricity. The service is still good and pleasant. Sea view table...is always a good choice thereMore

The food and service in Babel Bahr was excellent! I tried Lebanese ''mezza'' with fish and seafood specialties. Babel Bahr is a lighthouse, in arab it means: ''the door to the sea''. The view is fantastic. Would recommend everybody to visit this cool place!More

We were blown away by the beautiful restaurant with its great view of the harbor. It has to be the most luxurious restaurant I've seen. The staff was amazingly accommodating as more people joined us than we expected and we had to move to a...larger seating arrangement. The food was fabulous especially the seafood display where you could pick your own fish dish. Of all the restaurants we visited during our week in Lebanon this was top of the list.More

Even local Lebanese people in Beirut are saying that this is probably the best restaurant in whole Lebanon. The architecture, location, ambience, service it is beyound your imagination. Quite a travel from Beirut, but if you visit Byblos a lunch or dinner in Babel Bahr...is a must. The fish is so fresh, we tried many of them, including Red Snapper provencal and fried baby barracudas... The deserts from the house given to 2 people are enough for 8 :)))) I'm posting the video of the seafood counter, it speaks for itself. And that view... That view, I've been to some of the best restaurants in the world, from Tokyo to LA and Spain and Italy. This one ranks right up there with the best of the best !!!More

Excellent experience. Great views and the multi level restaurant design is super cool. Quality and customer focus is emphasized greatly and the selection of fresh fish was especially appealing. Our group of 10 ordered the prix fixe which sampled the most popular portions of the...menu and included items from each section. The fresh fruit at the end and dessert was particularly refreshing.More
