Several locals suggested a visit to Zeerovers, and we are so glad we took their advice. You walk up to the window, order the fresh catch of the day, and we also ordered shrimp. The food is fried and delivered to you at a picnic...More

This a high local cuisine in a very relaxed setting. Ttake your drinks from the bar, order your fresh fish and/or shrimps at the counter, take your seat near the sea and RELAX!. The food is amazing as well as the atmosphere.

My husband and I stopped here for a quick bite to eat after touring the island one day. Well, the line was quite long to place your order. That didn't upset us because we figured that was the sign of a good place to eat!...More

There is nothing bad I can say about this place! Other than the line was long, however that’s usually a good sign! It is a place frequented by the locals and somewhat of a hidden gem! Fisherman bring daily catch right to the dock and...More

The girl at the counter said it; if you haven't been here, you haven't seen Aruba. There's a line if you are not on time. But it's worth the wait. You order your fresh fish at the counter, get your ticketnumber and take a seat....More

Our friends have high blood pressure and one has kidney trouble so we had our fish, prawns, and fries without salt. It is nice to have chefs and cooks accommodate patrons and not instinctively salt food out of habit, especially when a restaurant is standing...More

Finally visited on my recent trip. Recommend not going on Sun. Apparently its the busiest day and the lines are long from noon until evening. Plan on spending at least an 1-1.5 hrs waiting in line to order. It's cash only and they accept florins...More

This restaurant was suggested to my travel group by our cab driver. We are seafood lovers, and Zeerovers exceeded our expectations! Staff was patient and helpful. The seafood was fresh, and we were able to select what we wanted. Price was amazing. Everything was seasoned...More

Description
Zeerovers is a local bar and restaurant situated on the waterfront in the fishermen's town of Savaneta. Here we serve fresh fried fish and shrimps with side orders of fried plantain, french fries, pan bati(local version of cornbread), onions in vinegar and tartarsauce. Everything is served to you in a basket as you sit on the dock overlooking the water as fishermen bring in their catch which in fact could have been your meal if you came a few hours later. That said, this is not a place for fancy dining but rather a place where you are welcomed to kick back, relax and get your hands dirty.
