We went to this restaurant because of a local’s recommendation and had to wait 30 minutes in line. The 4 of us were disappointed with the food. It’s all fried. You have the choice of the fish of the day and/or shrimp. Neither was outstanding....More

I highly recommend this place: good and fresh food, good price and the view of the sun touching the sea during sunset is extraordinary.

A bit out of the way but so worth it. Cash only so forget the credit cards. The menu is fresh seafood caught in the morning. They weigh out the shrimp to your order and you select from limited sides fries, cornbread or pickled onions...More

Four of us were here for a late lunch one day. The fish was literally just brought in from the sea (the boats were still docked in front). It's certainly a unique experience. It's rustic, it's on the ocean (so nice view), and doesn't get...More

Another idea that made sense! Daily catch offers you a fresh fish meal! You basically order by weight, add some fries and order some drinks. You get a number, choose a table and wait... then you get simply a very honest meal. If you time...More

When you arrive you’ll likely be quite confused. You wait in line and order, mainly by the pound/kilo. They’ll have one or two catches of the day, as well as shrimp. And then fries, plantain, etc. Once you get the order, you’ll get a number...More

Our group ate lunch here yesterday. It's one of our favorite spots on this part of the island. Very casual, very fresh. Locals go here for their food which really says something. I always get some shrimp and whatever the fillet of the day is....More

They remove the head and de-vein but leave the shell and legs on. They season and deep fry. You have to peel and remove legs but it is fantastic. Needs no cocktail sauce. The staff was friendly. We were there during a power outage but...More

Description
Zeerovers is a local bar and restaurant situated on the waterfront in the fishermen's town of Savaneta. Here we serve fresh fried fish and shrimps with side orders of fried plantain, french fries, pan bati(local version of cornbread), onions in vinegar and tartarsauce. Everything is served to you in a basket as you sit on the dock overlooking the water as fishermen bring in their catch which in fact could have been your meal if you came a few hours later. That said, this is not a place for fancy dining but rather a place where you are welcomed to kick back, relax and get your hands dirty.
