My wife and i had a sunday lunch recently at the Board Inn.We booked a table and it was a good job as it was busy between 12 - 1430pm.We ordered drinks and looked at the menu which consisted of two sunday lunch meats either...beef or chicken and pizzas and pasta s as well.We both ordered starters of garlic mushrooms and potato skins. When the starters arrived they were hot and large and very tasty. The main courses when they arrived had the meat, yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, carrots, broccolli, mashed potato and very hot gravy already on the food. The food was very nice with only turnip/swede missing which would have been great if it had been there. The service was very slick/efficient and seemed to work like clockwork. It was £12.95 for two courses and well worth the money paid.Highly recommend but i would definitely book as you may have a long wait if you dont.We shall return.More
