I visited Mar del Zur today and had a wonderful experience. Visiting from London I had never tried the fantastic fusion of Mexican and Thai food but thanks to a recommendation I visited this place and I was blown away. The food was outstanding and the service was first rate. We were welcomed by Mr. Melesio who took care of us, made us feel at home and indulged us with great attention and personalised service. Every single dish we tried was incredibly flavourful and surprising. This place stands out as being unique, incredibly original and one of the best restaurants I have visited. Not only in the city but it can easily hold its own with the top restaurants in the world. Spectacular restaurant. I am already thinking of my next visit when I will be sure to come back for more!

This is a very friendly and secure place located inside a mall.
I tried some kinds of sushi and my fried had de tuétano and told it was really food.
People servicing is very friendly and do everything to make you feel comfortable.
The place is very cozy and quiet.

I came here to celebrate Anniversary with my girl. We sit down and Luis the waiter received us in a special way. After we ordered a bottle of wine, the supervisor approached us to present himself and we decided that we would like a gastronomical experience.
Melecio, the supervisor, offered us a 7 course delicious meal.
The food is amazing, excellent place to be honest.

Without a doubt my favorite restaurant in Monterrey! I have had the opportunity to go several times since its opening and can’t get tired. Whether it's the roasted octopus, the sealed tuna, the crab tacos or any other menu item, the quality and taste of the food is amazing. Likewise, it has a great service! On each visit Captain Melesio and his team of waiters have treated us wonderfully. I fully recommend visiting Chef Eduardo Palazuelos's restaurant, as anyone who goes will undoubtedly have a great experience.

We celebrated a family member's birthday here, a party of 9 people, and the service was excellent. The waiters were extremely friendly and trying to recommend us the best items on the menu and the food was excellent. We were surprised by the birthday cake that was brought to us (it was delicious) and the dessert presentation was excellent. The fish was fresh and the mojitos we ordered were delicious. Will be coming back again soon.

My wife and I had a lovely night! The food was unique in its taste, plates were very well presented and our waiter Cesar was very attentive to our needs. Before we paid our bill (which prices were also very descent) Melesio the manager came to our table to make sure we had been properly attended. We will certainly return very soon! :))

I have enjoyed this great restaurant for the past year and half. The Service is Fantastic, the Captain and his team will make sure you have a great dining experience. The menu has a standing set of delicious sea food dishes that Palazuelos has carefully design, Ie.Totoaba Enchilada on the Jasper Oven, the Seafood Rice is excellent, Tacos Carbajal Wow! If you are around Monterrey you need to try it out! Enjoy!

When service goes one extra mile..
We were exploring the super cool restaurants around our hotel and then my husband discovered this amazing place where they allowed us to go with our dog (Frida).
@mardelzurmx is the perfect example of what do“ an extra mile” means regarding to costumer service.
They not only provided us with an incredible and delicious food but offering us an unforgettable experience. Extremely gentle and efficient staff. They CARE.. that is the difference between offer you a service or giving you an experience.
The waiter captain “Mele” is a great guy always smiling, willing to help and encorauging his team to offer fine service.
We had dinner the first night and came back every night after that, it was impossible not to do it as they made us feel special, welcomed and happy.
We will come back per sure! we will always recommmend them and fondly remember them.
And this is how you gain a costumer forever.

Amazing food, great location, great atmosphere, awesome service. Nothing to improve!
We ordered the fish tacos, shruimp ceviche, fresh oysters, and grilled shrimp. All were exquisite.

Their menu has Mexican / Thai twist that works great. The location is super and the decor a little to formal which attracts a +40 year old crowd.
They have great dishes like the Totoaba, the ceviches, octopus with bone marrow tacos,etc
They have a very consistent and flavorful cuisine.

Unforgettable food. An ideal balance between creativity, taste and presentation. Malu’s service was stunning!! (offered in Spanish, English or French).
We’ve started with the avocado entry and the crab tacos. Both irresistibly delicious and very unique.
Then the parrillada with fish, meat and octopus/bone was even better than the entrees (even if we thought it wasn’t possible!!). And then the desert was a show - Malu recommended a desert of the new menu. We had an amazing time “breaking” the desert and with the birthday cake.
To the whole team - the bar, the kitchen, the cookers - my warmest regards and congratulations for such an exceptional experience.

We had a great visit here. The staff was friendly with all the safety measures you can think of. That made us feel safe and relaxed. That helped so we could enjoy the delicious food we ordered. We had a little bit of everything, the coconut soup, octopus, tuna, shrimp. It was all great, but the octopus was amazing, cooked to perfection with a delicious sauce. Will definitely go back there.

Fantastic! Blend of Thai and Mexican seafood. Recommendations: “Adobado” Tuna and do share from starters to dessert so you don’t miss out. Ask for the courtesy “mystery” dessert (it’s fried carrots and ice cream believe or not). The staff is great and well trained in helping you choose from the menu.

Our group of five went the day after the Monterrey 70.3 triathlon. Same as last year. Service and food were both outstanding. They even took a pic of our group and made a pastry with the pic printed on the top. We had a great time!

This is the second time I've come and I plan to come back whenever I'm in town. The food is great, the atmosphere is very nice, and the staff is friendly and always trying to customize and make your experience one of a kind. Our chef, MALU deserves props for her knowledge and engagement level. The experience was so good, I asked for take out that same night!
