Best food in Nidri

We were there yesterday and believe me peope they serve the best food in Nidri. The salad was so delicious and also had a parmesan bowl. The feta in philo was the best in Nidri, I can tell because I eat it everywhere and the pizaa.. Oh the pizza was the best pizza I have ever eaten. My boyfriend also had the Polo pasta with cream, chicken and mushrooms and was done perfectly. The prices for me are also the best in Nidri as we had one salad, one starter, one pizza, one pasta, 0.5 liters of white wine, 2 ouzos, 2 beers and 2 waters for 52 euros. Yesterday we were at the Panorama restaurant and we paid 51 euros for the same drinks + a salad and an appertizer. If you ever go to Nidri this is the place you should have dinner. Also the host was really nice and made us feel so good.

Great service, tasty stone-wood oven pizza’s and traditional Italian pasta’s. (None of that Americanised/British sh*te). Service was outstanding as our host really went the extra mile to make all his clients feel at home

Lovely meal and attentive staff

Stopped by on Saturday early evening. We had the Bella Donna Salad to share and for the mains we had pizza and seafood pasta. All dishes were really nice even the pizza (and I am a pizza snob!). The waiter was so nice and attentive without being over bearing. Price good too considering the addition of 2 beers and 2 cokes it cost short of 50 Euros (not bad for a Harbor front restaurant). We tried to eat there again 2 days later but it was 9pm and very busy so we decided not to wait as we we’re too hungry and opted for a take away gyros from a nearby vendor. We will define visit again before we leave Lefkada!

Fantastic meal out!

We ventured out to Pomodoros after reading so many excellent reviews about the restaurant and I have to say I second those reviews. This restaurant was amazing. Spiros, our server, was the best server I’ve ever had. He made us feel so welcome and was so helpful when it came to ordering. Alongside Spiros being excellent so was our food. I ordered a pizza and it was lovely, properly cooked in a wood fired pizza oven. The rest of my family had pasta dishes which they said were also very tasty. All the food was very reasonably priced and we will most definitely be visiting again sometime. Massive thank you again to Spiros and the chefs on the night for a really nice meal.

Great food and friendly staff, but hard to pay up when you want to leave

The food was delicious and the staff are so friendly, welcoming and fun. The only issue we had is it took us over an hour to get the bill and pay it. When we had clearly finished, we waited a good 15 minutes trying to get the attention of servers to pay. As my parter had left some of his food the server just said 'you can do better' as he was passing without stopping to let us ask for the bill. It kind of felt like we were being held there when we wanted to go, though its probably a tactic they use in busy times to buy them more time. The staff were very busy so it was understandable, though we kept being told by our server they would be back in a minute after requesting the bill then proceeded to wait 35 minutes for the bill and a further 20 to pay (which we managed by leaving money on the table and getting up to leave). It was late and we were tired. Definitely worth a visit, but just factor in long wait times to pay into your plans.

Pomodoro!

Calling “Pomodoro” an outstanding pizzeria is an understatement. If authentically delicious appetizers and first rate entrees weren’t enough for you, Pomodoro features a fantastic cast of charismatic hosts and excellent chefs crafting delicious delicacies with a religious attention to detail. I was glad to share the experience with not only my family, but also our waiter, Spiros — someone who is clearly passionate about what he does! All in all, I highly recommend this restaurant.

Great good but beware! Read on

Firstly, the food in this place is really good and we visited twice and everyone’s food was great, However, on our first visit our bill came to €125 so we put €140 on table. It was there for a while and one of the waiters was very shifty and hovering. We left only to be chased by another waiter to say we left without paying enough. I returned to the restaurant and was confused as we had counted twice. Then surprisingly they told us €20 had been found and the shifty looking waiter had it! Why would one of the waiters take €20 from our table? Most likely because he reckoned in us being long gone and it was a side scam. We did return for a second visit expecting the shifty waiter to be gone but he was still there Just be careful and make them count the money before u leave as there may be a scam going on. Can’t fault the hood though one if the best in nidri

Great meal, Great service.

We are currently holidaying in Lefkada and visited this restaurant for an evening meal. Then food was excellent but what stood out was the service from Spiros. He is friendly, efficient and really on the ball. A real gentleman. The quality of food here is very very good. I had a superb pepper steak and my children had pizzas and they were really high quality. My wife and daughter also had some great dishes. We have been again since this first posting and will likely visit a few more times before we leave for home.

Super service and tasty food

Excellent front line restaurant , gorgeous views ,, wonderful food and fantastic service. Were sorry we did not get the name of our waiter he was without doubt the best and most attentive waiter and welcomed all the guests he served with the same cheerful and helpful manner. He had suggestions to improve the dining experience and alway returned to each table two or three times to ensure diners experienced the best meal. The food was without a flaw .. hats off to the chef and staff behind the scenes . Loved my tsatziki Starter and our swordfish main was perfection. House wine is excellent value. ..reminiscent of a Mochofilero . We were treated to a fantastic dining experience .. and it was great value...and well worth a little wait if there is no table immediately available.

Standard Pizza On Harbor Road

Located near the ferry mourning on the harbor road. The road is closed for traffic in the evening. Pomodoro is very busy with constantly changing tables. Tables are very close to each other. The waiters are very attentive with a super fast service. They are trying to make the service personal by asking questions. We ordered pizza Diavola, Quattro Stagioni, Calzone, and a Lasagne. The lasagna was an extremely small portion. The Quattro Stagioni is cheese rich and topping poor. The Diavoli is tasty and good.

Best in Nidri

We have been coming to nidri as a a family for many years and this is easily the best restaurant. The food is amazing, we’ve never had a bad meal and the service is too, they’re very accommodating and make you feel welcome. We have got to know the staff from our visits over the years and they’re all fantastic. Shoutout to Spyros he’s possibly the best server in the world!

Gorgeous Italian restaurant

We dined here as a family of 4, the service was excellent, Spryos especially was very attentive and welcoming. The food was also lovely, the pizza is hand tossed and cooked in a pizza oven and it tastes all the better for it. We definitely will be back!!

Good food, great location

Just returned from Nidri and visited here twice . Family of 3 adults . It’s in a great location , on the front of the marina with all the other restaurants. It gets very busy, but tables become available quickly . Service is so so . On our 1st visit we asked twice if we could go and waited for over 20mins , when I threatened to leave without paying they soon came over with the card reader . I had the chicken in a mushroom sauce which was huge and lovely , my husband had the pork steak in a mustard sauce and my son a pasta dish . Generous portions of everything . I just wish they offered something different from Chips with everything . Potatoes & veg would make a change . This seems to be the same through in all the restaurants . 2nd visit the waiter remembered us . Quickly Served and again the food was hot , great portions . Average prices for a plated dish €12-14 pizza €11-15 pastas €10-18. We also had a litre of house rose for €14 which was very nice and cold . My only small gripe is that they should serve what is on the menu - the feta in filo with honey and sesame seeds came with black poppy seeds - not the same taste at all . I would return .

An excellent experience

We dined at this resturant twice on our visit to the lovely resort of Nidri and found it to be an excellent choice. There are many restaurants to choose from in Nidri but this is a standout. The quality and choice of meals is amazing and they will cater for any special dietary requirements. It is worth visiting alone to experience the remarkable waiter skills of Spyros who effortlessly and charmingly serves the customers. Full credit also to all the staff and chefs for providing a wonderful meal.

Best and most professional restaurant in Nidri

The restaurant is the most friendly and nicest in Nidri. They provide great service top class, Spiros, Spiros ,Costa and Vangelis. The pizza and pastas can be made in childrens portions. The tommahawk is fantastisk. For two people with greek salad it fabolous. You can pre order table from 5pm at rhe same day. Best of all is the atmosphere with service first class from start to end. I have had my own restaurant and been a waitress myself for some years ago, and can tell that they put their heart in service being extremely effective. Thank you so much for many great nights at Pomodoro.
