Great restaurant, friendly staff with good food. Greek night on a Wednesday is a must!! Went a couple of times and made to feel Very welcome.
Food was average and staff weren’t very attentive or friendly. Wouldn’t recommend as there’s so many other lovely restaurants on the same strip.
What a shame this beautiful restaurant has such mediocre food. I had Swordfish with a lemon sauce. The sauce was congealed and tasted medicinal. Even the little cat that was looking for dinner, turned her nose up at it. One course, two hours, need I...say more.More
The waiters are rude. Rushed service. The smoking inside a restaurant is highly off putting. Food sub standard. It’s was as if the staff were rushing us to finish our starter. The young chap who took our drinks order was the only plus thing here....TerribleMore
I’ve never been to a restaurant on holiday and received such bad service. It was like we were invisible. We waited about 40 mins four our mains and hato chase this with a waiter. There was no welcome, no how is your food, can we...get you another drink. The food was ok but the calamari was thick and rubbery. We waited over half an hour for our bill and this was with asking for 3 waiters for it. No apologies, honestly felt like we were ignored and not important. How can they run a business like this. If it had been great we would have gone back. The Ionian we went to the night before couldn’t have been more welcoming.More
Booked the Greek night and it was busy but had a nice table. Ordered calamari and moussaka. Calamari was awful, tasteless, chewy and some vile jelly stuff coming out of one piece. It wouldn’t even say it was deep fried. I’ve had gorgeously calamari in...Kefalonia but this was awful. I did tell them it had no flavour and I chose souvlaki. This was ok but potatoes were hard and cold and it still lacked flavour. Drinks were not that cold also. The Greek music was nice and they got everyone singing. Moussaka was nice. The bill came and they still charged me for the calamari even though the souvlaki was about €3 cheaper. We just paid and left and won’t return as far better restaurants along this strip.More
Looked an amazing restaurant and always busy. Meal was pretty standard but if the service had of been good that would've made up for it! Brought bread as a starter which was then on the bill....waited a while for food but it was ok as...was enjoying the location. When asking our server for the bill he barely acknowledged us , we repeatedly asked for the bill and waited around 45 mins for it! Had we been asked of we wanted another drink we would have had more drinks but the service and non-attention of the waiters was awful, our glasses were empty for ages!!! Still people kept coming in and often having to sit and dirty tables that hang been cleared from previous diners, it was a shambles AVOIDMore
We stopped at Mamma Mia for dinner during our first evening in Lefkada. The place looks great from the street but the food and experience, not so much. We wanted to sit inside but was told it was too busy and so was placed outside,...it looks nice but you get swarmed by wasps and with 2 children it spoils the evening. Food was so so, nothing special.More
Had to return the cutlery twice, looked like it had been washed in the toilet prior to flushing. Waited one hour fifteen minutes after ordering. Even tha salad wasn't served. Eventually paid (i know stupid) & left. Can't comment on the food as we never...got any, apart that is, from yesterday's bread. Terrible.More
The place was nice. We sit right next to te sea. Food was ok, not bad but not good. Also there was a lots of bees, which was nerve wracking.
This restaurant seems to be one of the busiest on a Saturday night, Greek Night. The food and the service was good. Only concern was you had to pay in cash which was unknown at the time. There are definitely better greek restaurants in Nidri...to visit that get less attention. However, the Greek music was good and added to the atmosphere of the restaurant. Definitely an ok experience but I would go to other places for better food. Probably the busiest place on a Saturday night and watching the plates get smashed whilst women and men get dragged up to dance to famous Greek songs.More
Wednesday and Saturday is “Greek night” where they have live music and pull people up to dance. They try not except card and make it very difficult for you to pay. By Greek law, they must except card payment. My boyfriend had to go back...to our hotel to get cash! Food was average. Manager is very rude and abrupt. They charged us the wrong amount. When we finally paid, they did not bring change. Totally different dining experience to anywhere else is Lefkada. Do not be fooled by the attractive appearance of the place. This should be avoided!!More
We had greek salad, stifado and moussaka. The food was good, nothing exceptional but tasty greek good. The service however was not so good, the staff could not care less about our dinner experience. Our daughter wasn't offered a baby chair and neither did they...bring plate and cutlery for her either, we had to look for these ourselves.More
Amazing food great service and very reasonable. Tried seafood and traditional Greek cuisine and both were outstanding. Lovely location with amazing views would highly recommend a visit
The worst place to drop in Nidri. The food was pure abomination like from kindom of Angmar (Tolkien). Non of us could ate it. We all gave it to the cats and even they were challenged. When we and other people wanted to pay with...cards (obviously non of us wanted to leave a tip), the coldly sent us all to some ATM. 🤮🤮More
