Cosy family-run restaurant. The noodles were springy and the broth had depth. It appeared that all our dishes were made to order. We would definitely return.

undoubtedly the food is of top quality and taste, all the other reviews are correct so i cant add anything further, place is busy and there is usually a wait, some people may let you join their table (what i did) which is fine, sake...was great as wellMore
Had the wild vegetable hot soba and it was delicious. Not a huge amount of veggies but decent for the price. Would definitely return 😊
Delicious food and great service. Udon was chewy and the broth was on point. Do try the karage chicken and tempura vegetables!
A welcome hearty meal after the slopes. Reasonably priced, tasty soba and udon, very good karaage. It’s a shame they are not open for dinner as well as we would surely be back!
Was seated immediately for lunch and sat at a traditional table on the floor. A new experience for a Westerner. Promptly served green tea which was amazing. Tasty, solid Japanese food. Karrage was great. Soba noodles were superb. Friendly, attentive staff with reasonable prices.
Wonderful soba at reasonable prices. Side dishes were tasty and staff were very patient and helpful. They take reservations so best to call ahead!
We ate here on our last night and it was worth the wait. As you enter put your name in the waiting book ASAP. We didn’t know and waited 15min before anyone told us. What was more frustrating was watching 1 person being sat at...a 6 person table 😡. Anyway after 45 min we sat we ate and everything we ordered was so fresh and an authentic Japanese dining experience.More
A small noodle restaurant just around the ski rentals and entrance to one of the ski slopes. Once inside the restaurant, I was impressed how neat and clean the place was. The tables were big and plenty of space unlike those small noodle bars in...Tokyo or other bigger cities. Food quality was good. No frills udon that concentrates on the noodle and soup. There was also a variety of fried ebi, chicken or pork to mix with your bowl of udon. Service was prompt and the staff were welcoming.More
Our first meal in Hakuba, very good value. Service fast and friendly, no complaints at all at this price point. By 8pm there were people waiting for a table.
