Delicious burgers summed up our days while in Hotel Villa. We would order double cheeseburger and a round of lemonade pitcher, a refreshing and delightful snack after a day of snow experience or just touring around Hakuba. The setting was well spaced with pretty looking decoration which gives off warmth and comfort. Nice staff assisted us while dining. It is well known for all travelers visiting Hakuba and a regretful one without dropping by for a burger. Lovely surroundings inside and out which enhances customers satisfaction. For recommendation and highest rating.

We had a great restaurant experience here at Rabbit Hole. This was our second visit this winter season. My family makes it a point to return here twice every year. Loving the delicious meals, from breakfast to dinner. Everything were awesomely served. A great laid back live music brings out the romantic cozy ambience. Great burgers along with great restaurant servers. At night we had a tasty mug beers to distress and a aromatic freshly brewed coffee in the morning. A very amazing dining experience. Will definitely be back.Highly recommended for all.

Great place for food and to hang out and play cards. We visited for lunch on a rainy day and really enjoyed the casual atmosphere in a modern setting with fantastic Burgers. They serve breakfast 7.00 - 11.30am and from 12pm-10pm it’s burgers and a couple of salads. Vegetarian and chicken burgers are available in addition to beef. Vegan and gluten free options available.

This place had a good feel and a lot of potential but is unfortunately let down by the food and service.
Expect a sloppy burger with an old defrosted brioche bun and patty that has been tossed into the microwave. It came out wet and scorching hot but cold in the centre.
Booking a table was difficult and the young staff seemed to struggle to coordinate service efficiently.
They have no capacity at all for walk-ins which I found very strange for this style of bar/restaurant.

Average western breakfast. 2 poached eggs on one small slice of sourdough served on a piece of paper in a plastic basket. How are you supposed to eat that? I was still hungry after and the coffee was luke warm. I wouldn’t go back there for breakfast.

Relaxing atmosphere with good food. Varied groups...families, singles, groups of friends & couples. Not crowded @ 6:15pm on a Saturday. We were greeted at the door, our temps were quickly taken before being seated. Used our cell phones to scan the QR code @ the table to access their menu. Our group ordered burgers, loaded fries & the Gardener veggie sandwich @ the bar (as instructed). Wait staff was friendly, prompt & did bring our drinks & food to the table. Definitely the best burgers we’ve had in awhile & came with a side of fries! The Loaded Fries portion was huge & good with chunks of bacon & melted cheese. The Gardener sandwich a satisfying non-meat option...full of veggies & came with fries also. We had a lot of fries but somehow they were all eaten ;)

Cool and positive vibe in one place. It got the best ambiance with excellent menu offerings. The crew members were very welcoming and offer great customer service. I had burger that's pure beef grilled freshly and topped in a premium quality bread. We also had their best tasting chicken wings. My partner had a few bottles of beer while I loved the Mulled Wine, best paired with freshly fried fries as we enjoy the live night music giving that warm relief over a busy day skiing at the slopes and strolling around Hakuba's famous sites. An excellent place to dine and relax, recommended for everyone!

We spent a week in Wadano and our accommodation was very close to Rabbit Hole. We had breakfast once, dinner once and some coffees in the afternoons. It’s a very friendly place which caters well to small or large groups. I preferred the breakfast menu and vibe - good food and coffee. The dinner menu was burgers - they were great but it was too noisy in the evening for this middle aged reviewer! Great place for a drink in the afternoon too.

We were in Japan with friends for only 5 days for the snow machine festival, curiously the head chef (almost certainly called matheus or something similar, sorry if I spell it wrong) was the same person who was part of the security team in the snow machine festival with incredible humor and personality.
Anyway, this nice guy and his whole team made our little vacation an incredible moment, if you have a chance go to rabbit hole and give it a try to a good steak burger, a chuck norris, the chap or chicken wings, there is No way to be disappointed. The restaurant also has an adorable staff bar, excellent coffee, breakfast, lunch and dinner, more than incredible, highly recommended. Thanks team

After much ramen, onigiri, lawson fried chicken and katsu we were dying for a bacon and egg breakfast. Rabbit hole delivered in spades. Head into Wadano for fantastic eggs benedict and a true espresso coffee!

I have visited more than five times, the food is delicious for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I particularly love the breakfast options. Coffee is good, location is good. The service is great and the team here are really fantastic, down to earth and friendly. Very covid safe, strict measures on wearing masks, sanitizing etc which is great!

As expected in Hakuba, it’s full of Aussie skiers but the service is good, it’s not over-heated and food was good pub/burger standard. Drinks cheaper than some other bars nearby in Wandano. We were there on a Thursday night and enjoyed a good solo singing act who played non-stop for the 2 hours we visited.

This place is a good spot, there is a happy hour 4-6pm and the burgers are hearty. We’re currently stopping at Wadano Gateway so it was good 25 minute walk but was worth it.
I had the Balboa which was very filling and enjoyable, especially after eating ramen for three days. My partner had the ‘Chicky babe’ which was fried chicken and coleslaw. That was also awesome.
The service was good, the bar wasn’t to busy and there was a good vibe in the place. My partner described it as warm, cosy and groovy. It was exactly what you want after a day skiing.
There is a pool table downstairs along with another couple of tables and toilets. They even sell Rabbit hole merchandise.
One thing I’ve found with Hakuba is everything is spread out but this is certainly worth a visit.
Why only four stars? Primarily because the toilet was downstairs and it’s just that bit further out of town.
We would definitely go back.

Great pub/restaurant just near the bottom of the quad in Wadano, if you’re after western food or a few drinks. Great breakfast and lunch. Live music at night and plenty of games if you want a few drinks and bit of fun. Big tables or booths and pool downstairs, so a great place to regroup after a day of skiing.

Been to Hakuba the last 3 years in a row and this is the best place to be! Jimmy and the crew are the friendliest people who go above and beyond to make sure you have a great time. The live music nightly was amazing. The burgers are a must! Get a chuck Norris in you. Breakfasts were so good too, smashed avo’s plus great coffee which is hard to find in japan!! 100% rate this place a must go..
