HUGE starters! 2 of us dined and had a starter each and didn't need our main course! Pic was a starter 😳 Not a problem as anything left was offered in take away boxes. Vegetarians have lots to choose from, even a set banquet that seemed such good value however too much for us. Even though choice was extensive, it was not an issue to request a vegetarian version of another dish. Staff lovely, we were looked after by Jodie & Jade. Will be back soon!

We visited on a busy on Saturday evening , after a 10 minute wait we were shown to our table. The first thing you notice is the great atmosphere and friendly staff. We had a selection of Thai starters, the batter on the prawns was very thick however the stand out for me was the hot and sour soup which was extremely flavoursome.
The sea bass cooked in spicy chilly oil with vegetables was the pick of the main courses. Very good service,but be prepared to wait as all the food is freshly cooked.

Lovely Thai food. Every dish was absolutely delicious, Pad Thai was probably the best I’ve ever had.
Very friendly and attentive service. The dishes took a while to come out but personally, I prefer this at it gives an opportunity to talk and absorb the ambiance.
Lovely little restaurant, well worth the journey

The only time they had left at short notice to book in was 21:30 this evening. We asked at 16:00. We went for a few drinks first and arrived at 21:20. The Pinot Grigio we ordered was £15 and warm. It probably cost a couple of quid at best. Not great wine. It was served in an ice bucket but hadn’t been chilled first.
The dumplings for our starter were exceptionally good. Really nice: we ordered the sweet and sour chicken; ginger beef and pad Thai noodles with a side of Coconut rice. The meal was nice, but they brought the rice first and then fifteen mins late the chicken, ten mins later the pad Thai and finally the beef another ten mins. We also ordered some Thai crackers. It all tasted delicious and plenty of chicken and beef. The only complaint was the meal was going well until around ten o’clock where the music went off and we had to put up with the staff arguing amongst themselves in Thai and running the till to print out the days takings. We were having a lovely romantic meal except for the sound of the tills printer driving us both crazy for fifteen minutes’ and one of the women arguing in Thai and saying ‘I been sacked, I wont be in again’. I felt like at the end of the day we were just punters, a sidetrack to their job of running the business and truth be told we had a better meal for a take out from Suda Thai so we won’t bother gong back. Shame because the meal was pretty tasty.’

They do frustrate these ones. We want to work with people if we make mistakes but does anybody seriously believe that wine only costs us 'a couple of quid at best' or that the till takes fifteen minutes to run a Z read?
Is there really any need for embellishment and exaggeration? There's either a complaint or there isn't and sometimes it's quite tricky to tell what the complaint actually is.

After booking a table, we had looked online and was hoping to utilise the early bird menu. However, we were left disappointed. After being shown to our table on a quiet Tuesday night the waitress then disappeared. After leaving us for ten minutes she reappeared, we asked to order from the early bird menu but was told it was past seven o'clock. Looking at my watch it was now 7:01. I made a point that we had been left on our own for ten minutes with no sign of a waitress so we should still be able to order from the early bird menu. I was told that there is no way to select bird menu on the till after seven. We ordered and the food was generally good, though the experience left us disappointed as we felt that we were forced to choose from the ala carte menu. As a result, I would be reluctant to visit here again instead of the other two local Thai restaurants.

What a disaster. Having been highly recommended the Mews restaurant we booked a table for our first visit for 8pm 25.07.2020. we arrived 10 minutes early to be met by an aggressive older blonde waitress who literally shooed us back out of the door saying that there wasn't a table for us. When I pointed out that we had a booking, she very rudely said well there's nothing I can do I haven't got a table, what do you want me to do about it?. So..as there was no other option we left and went for a drink and returned at the new time she'd barked at us. On return we were met by a Thai lady who when we gave our name to tried to say we were now too late as our booking was for 8pm. We explained that we'd been sent away originally by her colleague and were now back at the time she'd given. The Thai lady gestured for us to go upstairs. There we were confronted by the original blonde older waitress who pointed for us to take a seat on some sofas to wait for a table. At this point as she handed us menu's to look at she asked us if we'd seen the news recently and were we aware that things weren't normal. I told her that I found her aggressive tone patronising and that her earlier performance was totally rude and unnecessary, of course we are aware of the Covid-19 situation, which is why we had booked well in advance and given her the benefit of the doubt when she very rudely addressed us in the first instance. Her whole demeanor was totally unacceptable and she caused a very hostile and uncomfortable situation. She told us that if we had a problem we should take it up with her boss as it was his fault for over booking and over working her.. not good enough - as a customer we should not be privy to this information. So boss if you are reading this first and foremost you need to hire staff who have some kind of level of customer service. If you're thinking of giving her a rise... don't, she will cost you all of your customers with her appalling attitude. Secondly, you really don't need to worry about making it up to us because we absolutely won't be coming back. I don't even want to leave one star, but unfortunately I can't warn anyone about our experience without giving/selecting a star!!!

Our fault this one, so we apologise to these customers for their experience. This was our first week back after lockdown and we were still finding our feet with the new process. There have been a few SNAFUs, this was one of them.

My son and I went here last night, as my Mother in Law recommended it. It is a lovely little place and the staff were lovely. We were seated with a drink straight away. We were offered the Early Bird menu as well as the normal one and that was the menu we went with. The food was lovely especially the chicken Satay, my son had Pork Parcels and he enjoyed them. Nothing was too much for the staff. I will recommend this place to my friends and will be visiting again when my son is back up North

Very busy when we went on Friday night and I'm not surprised. The food was freshly cooked, piping hot and delicious. The waitresses were quick and very friendly. I think a lot of customers were regular visitors and it's somewhere we will certainly be returning to.

We love coming here. The food is amazing, so tasty and they always tailor it to how spicy you want it which is perfect for spice wimps like me. Huge thank you to Tracey for looking after us yet again and being so welcoming and helpful. See you again soon.

Party visited early March in a group. Advised by establishment to have set menu for larger parties which was restrictive but a £25 tag.
One party had specific diet/gluten allergy and was still served wrong dish. Staff luckily recognised mistake minutes later.
Some of the dishes were absolutely delicious, but due to the groups size, the small bowls barely amounted to a distribution of the variety offered by the set menu. Rice bowls were small and were not sufficient between the four people per table. Felt like profit was the priority of the set menu and minimal food offered per head. The drinks were also unbelievably expensive.
Staff rushed us through as they wanted tables back by a certain time, however they were slow at delivering the meal. This explains the use of the set menu for larger groups. The turnover would have been slower if we were allowed choice.
Feel like is not the place it used to be years ago nor warm and welcoming to groups. Groups should avoid busy times or perhaps go elsewhere.
I would revisit this as a single table.

I've really enjoyed the food here for many years.
It's fresh, delicious, and the dumplings are the best I've ever tasted.
The staff are, very kind and welcoming.
Ive tried many Thai restaraunnt around the UK, including the suggested no1s, and still feel Thai muse is just that bit better.
The food is incredible.

A cold and wet Tuesday night after a business meeting in Fleetwood doesn’t have many options for a decent meal so we decided to try Poulton and gave The Mews a call. Fortunately they were able to fit us in as two people were just finishing, and the sight of a full restaurant on a foul night early in the week was really encouraging.
Everything about our meal was great. Friendly and efficient service and tasty and well presented food. We had plenty to eat and with drinks, although not many, the bill was only £50. Would definitely come back here again

I’m leaving this review to strongly recommend not using just eat as a delivery service with this restaurant. My friend and I ordered food last evening and items were missing, following a call to the restaurant who would not take responsibility for the missing items to take it up with just eat! They were no help so we contacted the restaurant again and they were dismissive and not helpful whatsoever!! We are left with missing food from our order and out of pocket..

I would love to be able to echo the reviews which compliment the food here at Mews Thai, however I’m afraid that after such appalling ‘service’ (to the point where we felt obliged to leave before even looking at a menu) I’m left with no choice but to echo those reviews which point out the unbelievably rude staff member employed here.
The blonde waitress was the complete antithesis of what I would expect from wait staff. She was hostile, hot headed and confrontational beyond belief.
I’ve never been made to feel like such an inconvenience, and will certainly NOT be coming back!

very disappointing . Food was very good but the experience was very poor. I was told to sit anywhere handed a menu and sat at a table that had no cutlery. No atmosphere . We felt like we were sitting in a cafe and we had to go and,ask if there was a desert menu. Not a pleasurable experience. We might just have ordered takeaway. We will not revisit. toilets inadequate.
