Wonderful authentic Mexican cuisine without ChiChi with high quality ingredients at a sensational price-performance ratio. Unfortunately, we only discovered the restaurant on our penultimate evening, after leaving at least $600 each time in highly recommended restaurants with 6 people. The service is attentive and unartificial. All ingredients are from sustainable production, neither convenience products nor preservatives are used. A real Recommendation!

Excellent Burritos.

I have been coming here since it opened to eat I think the food is good, especially the dinner burritos. I was quite surprised the last 2 times I got takeaway instead of eating at the restaurant, the manager is excellent but she wasn’t there the last 2 times and was left 15 /20 mins waiting for service when only 2 ppl were eating at lunch time, the next time I went the lady not there manager was very rude to me, as I asked for 2 dinner, not lunch burritos, and she got nasty, and only lunch burrito’s are available .. I explained I come here a lot, and they do dinner burritos at lunch as it was for my fiancé to take to work later, she got more nasty so I asked to talk to the manager as maybe a language barrier??? The cook came out as manager was not there, and was charming, and it was sorted out, and my dinner ordered with the dinner burritos. After he left she was really angry, and shouted how much I owed. I was saddened because I love the place, but this is wasn’t nice as I go there a lot, and this is 2nd time this person hasn’t been nice ??? …

Very Good Food & Service - Highly Recommended!

My wife and I had dinner on Tuesday, March 29. We sat outside in an area off the main patio because we had biked to the restaurant and wanted to keep an eye on our bikes. They allowed us to bring them into the patio area since they were not extremely busy. We ordered a medium guacamole and chicken fajitas. We both had a soda which came in a can. Although getting waited on initially was a bit slow, because we were not on the main patio, once our wait person did come to our table things improved rapidly. The medium guacamole tasted as good as guacamole we recalled from our trips to Mexico. It was fresh, substantial and delicious. The chicken fajitas was plenty for the two of us. in fact, we did had to ask for additional tortillas in order to use all the fillings. The service after our order was taken was perfect. The cost of the meal was $34 before tip. We would definitely recommend this restaurant and we will probably go back before our week in this here is over.

We like Mexican food but not this place. We started by asking for ice water and the server said that they only sell bottled water. The reason stated was that too much water is wasted and people don't drink it. We ordered sodas instead. Next I asked about the special on the wall because I didn't know what "tacos de carnitas" meant. The server said that it meant pork and that 99% of the people already know that. Hubby and I ordered the tacos and they were small, but tasty. Beans and rice were served with them and the price was reasonable. We left understanding why the crowd was down the street at the "other place".

We always drink tap water along with whatever other beverage we order. Not so at Guakamoles. Their water is bottled. Tap water is not served. The wait staff said it was "to conserve water since so many people don't finish their water and they have to throw it out." I could have asked what they do with water if it is left in the bottle. I had ice left in my glass when we left. I wonder what she did with it. That's the first time we should have walked out. The second time we should have walked out was when we didn't understand the Spanish description of the daily special and were told "99% of the people understand this" by the waitress. Since we'd already popped the tops on our Diet Cokes, we stayed. The tacos were okay. There was no salt on the table and I didn't ask for any, not wanting to interact with the waitress. We'll be talking about this waitress for a long time. Strong memories built here.

One review wasn’t enough for this couple ( next one taking about the carnita tacos and 2 stars is the same people,) how can we forgot all the work you leave at your table for the server and not tip as a punishment for not serving you tap water, and serve only bottle water for $1.75 but we understand and appreciate your visit.

I wanted to support a local spot but sadly it was the worst experience ever. Terrible service and the food was awful. The guacamole was not fresh… almost like a frozen or premade mix. As for my entree, the rice was under cooked and the chicken was not seasoned. Over priced and won’t be back again! I would have been much happier with Taco Bell and that says a lot. Save your money and go else where off the island for good Mexican.

Literally not enough words to describe how refreshing it is to eat at such a clean restaurant! The food is incredibly fresh, hot sauce is amazing, never had a bad thing on their menu and the service is impeccable- friendly, attentive wait staff - every single time. We tried to go in to two other restaurants close by tonight and I’m not sure why we even wasted our time as both of the other nearby restaurants were filthy. So we left and ended up here. Where everything was clean…. By far the most fresh food. And to top it off they were using organic all natural cleaner with no chemicals to wipe their tables down. Everything from the tables to the bathrooms were spotless and again, the food was on point: I’m happy to pay for chips and salsa when the service, cleanliness and food is this good. Our favorite place to eat here.

Outstanding Mexican. Special of the day was my son’s favorite, Birria Tacos, and he said it was the best meal of the trip. Fresh Salsa was excellent as well. My wife loved the Barbacoa burrito and preferred the green to the red sauce as the red was slightly smoky. Great stop

So we're in area vacationing, rely on TA for dining locations and had a taste for Mexican. Despite its appearance and size we chose Guakamoles, due to its high rating. After this experience, we must ask why? Good: quacamole dip, shrimp on Shrimp Fajitas, black bean "soup" served with fajitas and 🍹margaritas. Also, they served a can of Dr. Pepper (not shown on menu). Bad: Size of place, service, grilled veggies and rice that came with fajitas, fajitas served in a dinner plate, tortillas chips that came with quacamole, menu not listing things like for dinner you must order 3 of the same tacos, margaritas not listed, checkout/charge receipt and timing of meal. UGLY: All the rest, including delivery to table of mistaken chicken fajitas instead of shrimp, as ordered (waited for fix), the worst fajitas ever ordered in both style, method and overall quality of this entre. Based on the pics I posted, you can see how utterly unique their offerings are. In our opinion, Taco Bell would possibly have been an upgrade. May we suggest you pass on this place.

Solid lil place. All the food was kinda wet tho, like for example I couldn’t eat my burrito with my paws cause it was soaked in salsa on both sides. Overall thigh things were nice and fresh seemingly, guac and chips were the highlight. Didn’t absolutely Nuke a bathroom after eating it too which is always a positive! Mid/10

We were staying in Singer Island so it was a convenient location. It's a small restaurant and the wait staff was attentive and courteous. We ordered chips and salsa. The salsa could've used more kick. My spouse ordered a burrito. He said it was bland and asked for hot sauce. I ordered a Margarita on the rocks which was just ok. I had their chicken fajitas. The meat was well seasoned and was tasty. Their rice and beans lacked flavor. I got mainly green peppers with my fajitas, not much onion. The 3 tortillas were a bit chewy for my taste. It was an ok meal but I wouldn't go back.

If Guacamole is really #1 on Singer Island, you had better go off island to eat. Restaurant is tiny, and decor is unimpressive. Service was excellent. Now for the bad things. The Queso dip was watery and didn’t adhere to the taco chips. The guacamole while okay lacked peppers and cilantro. Not being too hungry my wife and I ordered a single taco, listed as $4.50.. when the plates arrived, each plate had three, tiny tacos that one had to eat with a knife and a fork, not for $4,50 but for $13.50. I wanted one regular size taco. Not to be. The menu made no mention of a minimal order of three, and listed the tacos at $4.50 not $13.50 for three. To make matters worse, I ordered mani-mani tacos. If there was an ounce of fish between the three, it was a lot. What I got was basically deep fried dough. Others at the table faired better with their quesadillas, but they said their food was mediocre.

We had the shredded beef tacos and they were very good. Our only complaint was that we went for dinner and we are light eaters. Most of their dishes for dinner were more than we wanted. For example, we each wanted to order just one taco, but you have to order three for the dinner hour. Instead of getting two kinds, we just ordered one plate of three and shared it. They were fine with letting us share and we recommend their food. We will probably go back for lunch next time.

Food was very good. Unique also with interpretation of the common Mexican dishes. The chips in the Nachos were exceptional as they stayed crisp until end of dish. Service was good but be better. Happy we went!

We were in the area for diving and happened on this lovely little oasis on a warm FL day! We had guacamole of course and it was truly deliciously authentic and customizable with preferred ingredients. Carnitas street tacos were spot on and one of my 'tests' of a good Mexican restaurant and it was both moist and very flavorful. The gents in our group really enjoyed their LARGE burritos with fillings of choice as well. Service was very prompt and they offered a dessert at the end they were considering adding to the menu - a delicious key lime pie like sweet treat to end our meal. The mango margarita was both refreshing and delicious as well. Prices were reasonable especially during these times of higher food prices. We try and support small business owners where possible and they are lovely people. Never had a communication issue that someone mentioned in a previous post HIGHLY recommend and yes both outside or inside seating. Very clean too.
