The restaurant is in a beautiful setting, a 20 minute drive out of San Sebastián town. Even then all the tables were occupied. The service was faultless and the degustation menu was beautifully presented and delicious. We all had the degustation menu but each of...More

Third stop of our basque foodietrip: ***Martin Berasategui. I was sure it would be a challenge for Martin Berasategui and his team to match the great experience we had the day before at Azurmendi. But again (like three years ago), they topped it! The 25th...More

We visited Martin Berasategui right after visits to two other Michelin three-star restaurants in the Basque Country Although we had doubts about whether this kind of binging would be worthwhile, this visit was the finest of all. The setting is a touch more formal than...More

Expensive but well worth it. Less so than Michelin 3 stars in Paris. We chose not to do the wine pairings because it was lunch so each had only two glasses of wine. Bill was $654.00 USD.
