Should you happen to drive on M1 highway in any direction and wish to see castle in Mir I highly recommend to call at Misrskiy Posad restaurant or even stay overnight at their hotel. The reason is you can really enjoy both food and fast...and kind service. Pros. Location. It is just next door to the castle itself. The complex of Mirski Posad Hotel is actually former buildings of Mir Sinagogue and Yeshiva. WC is clean, everybody wears masks and the menu contains dishes of pork and beef meat. You can choose fish too along with a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. And they are really fast in delivering your dish. Cons. Music is too loud and you may have to hint the personnel about it. No air conditioning in summer, so it may be sometimes hot (they have an open terrace) when it is hot outside. And what is the most important: they do not have comprehensive opening hours in the evening. If you see they work till 11 pm on the internet, they may as well be closed with a paper notice on the door.More

I arrived late afternoon. I was the only guest. I asked to sit out and they allowed me. They have nice terrace behind. The waitress was ok, just we could not communicate because she could not speak English. Waiting time was acceptable...around 20 minutes. They...brought my beer in the minute. Food was very simple and stake was oily. Maybe pork oil?? Potato was ok and bread was just baked and good. According to review score was quite ok.More
